Plug and play
Working well, plug and play with my 9950x3d. First boot took a long time and I thought something had gone wrong but it eventually booted. Even enabled AMD EXPO on my ASUS 870e-e moboIt is a little slow but I don’t care about that. I needed a lot of memory to handle virtual machines, several browser tabs and video and other multi tasking and this RAM handles it like a champ!!Because of its small size and no RGB, it fit inside the mobo with noctua dh15 fan without issues. Good value for money and highly recommended if you need this much memory

Alienware Aurora R16 Owners, This Works!
Compatibility:Alienware Aurora owners know these systems are hard to upgrade unless you buy expensive components from Dell. I bought my Aurora R16, Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF GeForce 5070, in June 2025 with 16GB ram thinking this makes a great gaming machine. Well, on Amazon I found a good deal on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 premium deluxe version so I grabbed one. I found that to run at the highest specs I needed 64GB. I know I know, shoulda checked before buyinig the R16 but MSFS 24 wasn't on my list of games then. Looking at memory upgrades from Dell, 32GB costs $375.99 for 1 stick or $751.98 for a full 64GB, R16 only has two sockets on the motherboard. Browsing the web I found a comment that said Crucial had compatible memory. BTW, the Aurora R16 has DDR5-5600 at 1.1 volts. I could find plenty of memory at 1.35 volts but not 1.1. Also, I didn't see anything in bios that allows me to change the voltage, remember this is an Aurora. Well, Crucial has a System Checker on their website. I downloaded and ran the app which lists components compatible with my Aurora R16. Note, Crucials System Selector page seems to be out of date. On the System Selector page the R16 lists the 14th gen Intel Core 7 chip not the Core Ultra 7 200 chips so I recommend downloading and runnng System Checker app instead. This 64GB (2 x 32GB) kit CP2K32G56C46U5 was one of a handful of memory upgrades listed. I just wanted to report back that it does work on the Aurora R16 so owners have an alternative to Dell for memory upgrades. I did verify this by running MemTest86 after the swap and no I have not enabled the overclocking settings in bio and have not tested either OVCL1 or OVCL2. MemTest86 shows it running at 5186 MT/s (46-45-45-90). BTW I paid $139.99 for Crucial's 64GB kit vs $751.98 for Dell memory. I hope this helps other Aurora R16 owners.July 15, 2025 Updated infoI just read the Amazon generated summary of customer reviews for this product. As of July 25 2025 it says "the MHz performance receives mixed reviews, with some customers reporting it runs at 5200 MHz while others achieve 5600 MHz as advertised." I didn't think that was quite fair to Crucial. in my original review I stated in my testing with the default motherboard settings MemTest86 showed it running at 5168 MT/s which is exactly the same as the factory installed 16GB memory. I did say I had not tried the overclocking settings of the Aurora R16. Well, I just wanted to report back that I have now tried overclocking, specifically the OVCL1 settiing in bios. Using OVCL1 the memory description reported by bios shows the Crucial memory as 5600 and the Performance section of the Alienware Command Center reports the frequency as 5587 MHz. So as far as I'm concerned this memory kit performs as advertised at 5600 MHz. I highly recommend this product and I hope this comment corrects the generated customer review summary.Lastly, for those who might be interested, MemTest86 is a freebie utility to surprise, test the ram memory of your computer. This is a great tool for anyone upgrading their memory or who thinks they may be experiencing a problem with ram. You can download it from Passmark Software. Once downloaded you create a boot thumbdrive and run the test from there. Note, there is also a paid version but I've only needed the freebie version, not entirely sure what you get with the paid version though. Just Google or DuckDuckGo MemTest86 Passmark and you'll find it along with instructions on creating the usb boot drive. FYI, Passmark also does a CPU benchmark. The data about cpus is listed on their site and is available for free. The cpu benchmark will give you a good idea of relative performance of each cpu. Just think of it as the amount of horsepower for your cpu. While not the absolute measure of performance it will give you a good idea of relative performance of one cpu versus another. I used it when choosing my Aurora. Again, not an absolute measure of performance since disk I/O, GPU, network and other factors also influence your system.

Bought (2) 128GB Kits for 256GB total (4x64G) on Z890. Runs smooth at 5600Mhz
I needed a ram upgrade for a home lab cloud server I built last year, and these were the best bang for the buck I could find. I tested the first pair, which clocked in at 5600Mhz without any tweaking and passed (2) Memtest86+ passes without error. Transfer rate showed at about 28GB/s, which is pretty good. I installed the 2nd pair, and the Motherboard down clocked the set of 4 x 64G to around 4400Mhz. I changed this to XMP at 5600Mhz, and the system booted without issue. I ran memtest86+ for 4 days, and have had no errors (it takes about 4 hours for the first pass, and around 10 hours for each subsequent pass). Very stable ram, with no issues. Highly recommend.

Is it worth it? Yes it is
Great 64 GB Ram nothing to fancy no overclock, works just great. will work with most games out there. just make sure your motherboard can support it prior to buying. Always double check your compatibility.

100% would buy again
I have a Ryzen 7 CPU with a 5060 ti GPU. I wanted to upgrade from 32 GB of RAM to 64 and bought these. They were the cheapest ones and I don't need RGB on them. They work great. Super happy with the purchase and now I can have 100 Chrome tabs open and never look at 90 of them! Haven't had any stability issues with the memory either so fingers crossed that'll continue.
