Does the job
Handy that it self coils and is small enough to fit inside a small bike saddle bag. The cable is reasonably strong and should deter an opportunist thief (far better than those skinny wire cables which you can cut through with a pair of scissors) and the lock combination IMO is great and far better than key operated as it's generally only a matter of time before you lose the key. So, pretty good as far as I'm concerned but I wouldn't trust it to protect an unattended bike for a long period eg overnight in a public place. For that sort of protection you'll need something much more sturdy like a Kryptonite.

Adequate, but poor value
Adequate, but poor value. I got sold on the reviews and the Abus brand, but when it arrived I realised it was really thin and flimsy (I can probably cut it with a hacksaw in 20 seconds, someone with better tools would go through it in a few seconds). My advice would be to either buy an even cheaper cable lock (which basically adds very little security) or but a proper chain lock for £5-£6 more. Also, the combination is not great - not smooth and gets stuck. We use it to lock my son's bike at school, but it doesn't even feel secure enough for that.

It’s not Orange!
Lock is perfectly fine only for its advertised in orange and the lock that arrived is bright pink not exactly unisex!Lock code is also preset but a key with the combination comes with it in case you forget.

Good for what it is.
This is a 'lock up your bike for five minutes outside a café/toilet etc' only type lock. And then only in the country/respectable part of town. For that it is great, however. Very light and compact and seems well made. Will fit in the back pocket of a cycling jersey.

A lot smaller than I expected. But does the job - I gave it as a child gift rather than to the adult it was originally intended for.

Ladder Security
Purchased to secure some ladders in my garage. Very easy to use and a slim male component which was a requirement due to lack of space. Not tested by a burglar as yet!!

Numeric dial stuck within 6 weeks of exposure to British weather.
Had to cut the chain to get the lock off bicycle because one dial was no longer turning. Bad manufacturing quality.
