I do wish the straps were better made but these are the best ones I've gotten, yet! I'm doing kickbacks with 40lbs and no slippage (during workout, anyways). You will have to retighten if you are actually working out....

these feel great around the ankle, my only complaint is that the bottom strap doesn't reach around my shoe and wouldn't been nicer to have a longer strap
