Very Helpful after Hip or Knee Surgery!
This was very helpful for my husband after his hip replacement! The long rail slides under your mattress & stays there & the top rail has little pockets attached, so he could put a flashlight or his phone in & also be able to pull himself up when he needed to get up at night!

immediately helpful. Long term? time will tell
this is a very nice tool to have. I put it on the centerline of a tempurpedic adjustable bed using the metal rail that retains the foot of the mattress, and it has been very good to have from the jump - for repositioning myself, for sitting up, for getting out of bed. (I'm a cancer patient with a lot of weight loss following abdominal surgery; my core strength is very low.) I can see it will also be a great rescue tool - last week I drifted to the edge of the bed while asleep, halted my fall by putting my head on the bedside table - and needed another 20 minutes to figure out a way to lever myself upright and get out of bed. that experience prompted my purchase of rails and this ladder. i will get the rails up when possible; this was a one-person job with immediate, large benefit.all that said, I do look at this tool and wonder how long it will last. the assembly of the middle rung on my copy introduces 2 unneeded points of failure - the main ring of fabric is cut on each side and the rung is attached at the cut, as is the loop which holds the top rung in place. If the çenter rung was joined the same way that bottom rung is, by leaving the webbing intact and joining to it as it went past, there would be no need for those two cuts - and probably fewer reviews reporting early failure of the ladder. Time will tell, and I will look into other fabric ladders. It seems possible that someone makes a bunk bed or treehouse ladder which offers similar functionality if attached to a bed.

very useful
I have an upcoming surgery where I need to be very careful how I move. I love having this bed ladder for both getting in and out of bed.

Worth every penny.
This bed ladder is very handy. I’ve been using it for quite awhile now and it has still held up from constant usage. The bed ladder is made to be sturdy, it holds up an almost 400 lb. person many times a day.

A Must For Shoulder Surgery!
I watched all the YouTubes that I could find on shoulder replacements. A man said that this was a must so I ordered it right away. The PT came to my house the day after surgery and I asked him if I could use it. I do have an adjustable bed so that helped but I was able to pull myself out of bed without any problems. I am seven weeks out from surgery and I still use the ladder each time I get out of bed. The picture doesn’t look very nice but it needs to be tied securely and don’t get your feet caught under the covers. Keep the covers loose or you won’t be getting out of bed!

Heavy duty construction
This is very convenient for helping sitting up and getting out of bed. It attached to the bottom of the bed frame at the foot of the bed and then stretches up to be used. No tools required. I'm a heavy - set person and it holds fine. The ladder part is covered with foam where you grab it. I was struggling to get out of bed and this is great.
