GREAT SAW! Very well made and works very well
Excellent! The pole attachments are solid, well made and a great deal. For those not used to using: Grease up both sides of the teeth of the blade with Lithium Grease spray (big box store) before you use it. This removes friction on the blade and it slices like butter. You still have to "saw" but it cuts much better. Be sure to wipe down and spray teeth again AFTER you use it and put back in the sheath. Stand on step stool or 10ft ladder to saw, increases the pressure on the blade. FAR better than a chain saw (which slips, snags, etc). I cut down 6" and 8" limbs diameter on Maple tree no problem! And I am a older woman.

sharp as a razor and easy to handle
super sharp, does the job very well, long enough and not flimsy, but rather sturdy. the pole extension is customizable to fit the purpose for what you need. one recommendation is that it is best to saw at an angle at say 45 degrees of the branch you're trying to cut. if you are at a too small angle the weight of the branch bending downwards may get the saw stuck in the cut, which sounds obvious, but it can be tricky to handle especially with high branches that you dont want to use a ladder for to cut or unlock the saw!

Like butter
This bad boy has teeth facing both directions so that it cuts while you’re pushing AND pulling, making easy work of any tree trimming. I’ve cut through a large portion (about 10 inches across) of my Ted when I was too lazy to get my electric saw and it was actually quite easy with this tool. The pole is very sturdy and the parts are easy to assemble and you can buy another one and add the pieces for more reach. In addition to the saw, it has a large hook shape at the end that can grab a branch that didn’t fall or some fruit that may be up there. Comes with a plastic sleeve to cover the blade and the handle has a big comfortable rubber grip. I like it so much I take the blade portion only in hand and use it for other sawing on my small lemon tree that doesn’t even require a long reach. Doesn’t take much effort to cut; you could get away with simply moving it across a branch and requires little pressure to get the job done. The only drawback is that if you change the angle of attack you could bend the blade and the multi-directional teeth could get stuck in the branch. You have to remember to choose an angle that you can stick with so as to avoid bending the blade or getting the teeth stuck.

Good buy
Received in good condition, no issue to assemble except that one has to be careful while attaching the blade. The teeth are really sharp. Some reviews mentioned the blade is somewhat flimsy, however, I see that it is quite stable. I want to use it to get fruits and for simple trimming of a tree in our backyard. The hook feature at the end is good to pull down small / thin branches to access fruits without breaking the them. Already used it once and it worked well. I am covering the blade with plastic sleeve (that came with the package) for safety. Overall it is a good buy.

Good saw for the money...
I have been staring at dead branches up in my cottonwood trees for years and finally decided to do something about it. Every year I have removed as many dead branches as I could reach using my 6-foot step ladder and a hand saw, but I have not been able to reach anything above 10 or 11 feet. This saw has solved that problem. Rather than spend a hundred dollars (or much more) on a gas or electric chain saw attached to a long pole that I would use infrequently, I found this saw on Amazon for about thirty bucks. It's not mechanized so it does require some effort on the part of the user, but not too much effort. For example, I used it for close to an hour and didn't even break a sweat. It saws easily and makes a nice clean cut. I cut dozens of branches and small limbs up to 6" in diameter that were between 10 and 21 feet above ground - the highest ones requiring the use of my step ladder. The hook at the end of the saw is extremely useful for breaking off brittle branches (no sawing required) and for dislodging cut branches that get hung up in the tree. The saw and its 10-foot pole is very lightweight and quite maneuverable -- I had no absolutely no trouble controlling it, even while standing on the 5th rung of my 6-foot step ladder. Assembly was simple. I had it all together is less than 5 minutes and the blade is not wobbly at all, despite what some reviewers reported. I have to believe that the reviewers who complained about a wobbly blade or the pole coming apart during use didn't put it together correctly. This is the first pole saw I have owned, and I must say that I am very impressed with this one. I cut enough dead wood out of my cottonwood trees in less than an hour to completely fill my full-size pickup truck, and then some. Had I hired a professional tree trimmer, I'm sure I would have been presented with a bill for several hundred dollars. For $30 and an hour of my time, I did the job instead. I think this is good pole saw for the average homeowner, especially considering its low cost compared to other pole saws.

Segments coming apart while using
I got the 10' length and it works pretty good. The only issue is when using the hook on the end of the blade to pull a branch down, the segments of the handle can pull apart. It happened twice while I was using it and half of the unit was way up in the tree. The threads on the segments that screw together are just too shallow. Also it's steel pole screws going into a plastic coupling. This needs to be beefed up.

This saw is AMAZING and has a Hook end.
I live in florida and have palm trees in my front yard and its always been a pain cutting the limbs off. You either had to pay someone to do it or spend half the day usually on a ladder cutting the dead and discolored palms down. Part of the problem also was some of the ones that need cutting are not always the bottom ones, and when you cut the ones higher up on the tree alot of the time they dont fall and get stuck or tangled with other palms after they are cut which is a real pain. Well this thing is not only super sharp the end is a bladed hook so you can literally pull cit limbs that may be stuck straight out. Sometimes there are palms that are broken from the wind stuck in the tree and all you need is the hook end to pull them down its awesome most cutters don't have that hook and you don't realize how useful it is until you have it. This thing is also super light and unscrews in sections to make it smaller or longer which i like better that the telescopic versions as those tend to have weak locks and the pole usual extends even when in the locked position, but not with this cutter. Its my go to cutter for palm limbs now i can cut them clean and super fast i have a dewalt polesaw and i use this over that now that says a-lot. The price is right and its simply works better than anything else get one you wont regret it.

Very good and the price is excellent.
Very sharp blade, cuts very good. I like the adjustable extensions so you can use at varying lengths that is required. Don't think because the cheap price that it's not good. I was using a electric pole saw to trim some Hollytrees and the pole saw would keep getting stuck even with a new chain,I bought this and it cut through the limbs like butter.
