I've never held solid copper before, so I didn't expect it to be so weighted. I also bought a zinc rod. Supposedly holding a pure copper rod in your right hand, and a pure zinc rod in your left hand helps with grounding. This rod is comfortable to hold, and the perfect size for my hand. It also passed the magnet test, so it is pure copper.

It's larger than the nominal diameter
I bought this to use as a backer for rewelding holes in a front sight base. The description said it was 3/4 of an inch in diameter. It was larger at .780 of an inch. It wasn't too much of an issue for me as I own a lathe. If it was smaller or someone didn't have a lathe it would be unusable for that type if purpose

Good copper and they cutting me short!
The media could not be loaded. The copper is very solid very good. got here very fast. my issue is I ordered 1 inch diameter by 8 inches long. I got .098 x 7.87. Smh
