M240 Silent Bluetooth Mouse, Wireless, Compact

I am not a fan of using a laptop trackpad endlessly, especially for detailed work. When I recently bought a new MacBook (from Amazon) I decided to get a separate mouse. After looking at the offerings on Amazon and reading the reviews, I settled on this Logitech model, primarily because I know them to be a long-standing company and I've used some of their products in the past. This is a smaller size mouse but perfect for my needs. It really is nigh on silent, fits perfectly in my hand (adult male) and is a pleasure to use. It was simple to connect to the MacBook - settings/bluetooth - and I've no issues at all with it. One part of this product I found interesting was the fact it uses a battery (said to last around 18 months) rather than be rechargeable. I did like that and not having to worry about recharging is a good thing. I found nothing negative about this product and will likely order another as a spare. Low price, good construction, works perfectly.

I’ve owned quite a few wireless mice over the years, and this is easily one of the quietest. The silent clicks feel just as responsive as a normal mouse, but without the constant clicking noise, which is ideal when working in a shared office or using it late in the evening. The Bluetooth setup couldn’t have been simpler. It paired with my laptop in seconds, and not having to use a USB receiver is a real advantage, especially on devices with limited ports. Despite its compact size, it’s comfortable to use for long periods, and the tracking is smooth and accurate across a variety of surfaces. It also feels well built, with the quality you’d expect from Logitech. The long battery life is another bonus, meaning you can fit it and forget about it for months at a time. If you’re looking for a reliable Bluetooth mouse that’s portable, quiet, and easy to use, this is an excellent choice.

I bought this to replace an old M505 which had worn out. It's almost exactly the same shape, weighs little more than half as much, and doesn't have clicky buttons. I don't really get the new obsession with "silent" mice, I never found the click offensive in the first place. To me, the quiet, slightly spongy action feels almost like the buttons are about to wear out, but in reality it is a very responsive easy to use device. The scroll wheel is also quiet unless you roll it very fast. The setup was a complete doddle: pull out plastic strip over battery terminal, observe mouse detected by computer, click pair device. Five seconds tops. It then offered to download the Logitech bloatware configuration tool which, to be fair, installed and worked without issue, but it is largely a waste of time for a mouse without extra buttons. Two minor things I don't like: 1) It defaults to having a "smooth scroll" mode, which tries to add a bit of inertia to scrolling, like a smartphone. It's ok on some things but, when you actually want to scroll just one notch in a list or something, it becomes unusable. So that got turned off pretty quickly. 2) On a hard surface it very fractionally rocks side to side. This has no impact on functionality but, along with the extremely light weight, makes it feel a bit cheap. Which, bear in mind, it is. I'm not going to hold a sub-£15 mouse to the same standards as one costing £50. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

A very good everyday wireless mouse. It connects quickly, tracks smoothly and the silent clicks are a noticeable improvement in a quiet office environment. Compact enough for travel but comfortable for daily use.

It is by far the best simple mouse I’ve ever had. It is super silent and extremely smooth. The pink color matches the picture and is truly lovely. I love that it is Bluetooth, it connected quickly to my notebook. There is no lag. I am a small woman, and the mouse is also small, which makes it a perfect fit. It was also very cheap. The only thing I missed was the USB connector. I wondered if I might ever need one. However, it seems that this device doesn’t come with a USB connector, even though there is a slot for it inside. To be even more perfect would be nice to have it chargeable. But the AA battery seems that is going to last long like it says. I'm using for some weeks now and it's 100% battery. Great product!

Mine was faulty but Amazon gave me a full refund and I repurchased - works perfectly and has a nice, ergonomic feel.

The perfect sized mouse for small hands! I bought this to replace my Apple mouse and I could not be happier with my purchase. It is quiet, responsive, and the most comfortable mouse I’ve used. I wish I would have looked into this mouse sooner as it is a quarter of the price of an Apple mouse. Highly recommend especially for the price!

5 stars because it is a well constructed mouse, typical of Logitech, and does it's intended purpose very well. It's slightly smaller than I expected but my reason for buying this soley was to access my phone while we play Outsmarted on the TV. We pass the mouse round in the room to person who's turn it is. For my usage this is perfect. There is next to no latency as well which is what I expected with the mouse. Mouse buttons are remarkably quiet and even the scroll wheel is dampened so if you were to use this as your main mouse, it won't cause any distractions despite what other reviewers have claimed. I highly recommend this mouse and if you have small to medium size will be extremely comfortable. Mine are on the medium to large size and extended use could ache. The scroll wheel works on the phone too so it will swipe on doonschrolling sessions if that's what you're into. As expected with everything I have had in the past from Logitech, it's a well built mouse and functions perfectly.

This is beautiful mouse. I bought the white version. The buttons are truly silent, however the scroll wheel makes a lot of noise, even more than my previous non silent mouse
