Audio-Technica AT2040USB Dynamic USB Microphone

Affordable, usb provides easy connectivity, sound quality is great for my needs (zoom calls), plug and play, low noise.

High quality and crisp voice recording. Looks amazing and the big mute button is very handy and helpful in many conditions.

This is a great dynamic mic. Doesn't get all the background noise out, but better than my other mics. Audio Technica mics all sound great. Everyone on my Meet calls say this sounds great.

Everyone has said how much better this mic sounds compared to 150 dollar headsets. Though they've said there's no difference between this dedicated mic and the audeze Maxwell with its dedicated mic. I use a mix of different headphones plugged into a dac/amp when gaming with this microphone. Easy to adjust but the dac/another built in is horrible. There's no bass whatsoever and that takes the life out of any audio. Not enough bass to balance the treble. I use with a PlayStation 5.

I don't use any of the fancy controls, but for a standard mic its wonderful. Works great with my low pitch voice capturing the most important frequencies of me without being bassy like other mics I've used. However its very heavy and my mic stand can barely hold it up. Overall I'm happy with it.

Absolutely incredible and clear mic. The setup was extremely easy, and the quality is very good.

Was looking for a mic for my wife's live stream and ran into this. I've used Audio Technica mics before both in the studio and int he field so I figured let's give it a shot. We have been using this mic since last May and love the sound and ease of use. Warm and clean sound.

I have to call them out as I see them. For a dynamic USB mic, the Audio-Technica AT2040USB Dynamic USB Microphone just kicks "hinds" big time! Sure, it is a bit bulky for traveling, but is it really when you consider all the gear you can easily leave behind because this is a .... wait for it .... wait for it .... is a USB mic! I am NOT going to bore you with technicalities. I am sure plenty of other reviewers will take care of this in spades. But what I can tell you is that the sound you get out of this, YES USB MIC, is quite rich hence pleasant without it sounding compressed or unnatural straight from your computer. :-)

使用してから1年ほど経過した感想を書きます。 【使用感】 音質がとてもいいと言われます。PCだけでなくiPadで通話している際にイヤホンのマイクからこちらのマイクを接続して使用したところ音の質が変わったといわれるぐらいには音質がよいと思います。 また、上記でも書いていますがUSB接続なので使用できるデバイスに制限がないため使用する場面を選ばないマイクかと思います。 【注意点】 しっかり口元に意識して構えていれば周りの環境音は結構拾わないですが、その反面呼吸音やリップ音は結構拾ってしまうので使用する際は少し気にしたほうがいいと思います。 【まとめ】 デバイスを選ばないで使用できるとても使いやすいマイクだと思いますし、セール時を狙えば2万円以下で購入できるマイクにしては音質もとても良いです。 また、マイクを使用する際に必要な物がこのマイク以外にマイクアームぐらいで済むため通常のマイクよりもお得に導入することができると思います。 環境音よりもリップ音などを結構拾う方なので使用する際は気を付けたほうがいいです。

Excellent clean sound, picks up on the low frequencies with accuracy and resolve. Looks sleek enough on the Audio-Technica mic stand. Capacitive touch button is a cool feature that has come in handy a few times. Short of going full XLR, this gives a significant boost in quality as a daily driver for use with OBS, zoom and teams. Often told it sounds podcast quality.
