My daughter smashed her pinky toe and we used these to stabilize it. It worked well, she went on a trip and said it was great.

I have had a dry and cracked pinky finger for over 6 months. I've been using the Gel Finger Cots off and on for the last couple of months and these seem to work to protect the finger and allow it to heal. I cut the bottom part off of the Cot so it didn't cover the knuckle, so I can easily bend the finger with it on. I can type with it on and it helps to reduce the pain. I put hand lotion on the finger and then slip the Finger Cot on. I can wash my hands with it on (and it keeps the finger dry). When I put lotion on my finger, the Cot does have a tendency to slip off when I'm doing stuff with my hands, but that doesn't bother me at all. This particular size works well with my little finger, but it is too small for my thumb, and I don't think this size would work for my index finger, either. It does stretch; I just don't think it would stretch enough for the other fingers. And, once they get a little dirty on the outside, I haven't been able to clean them, so I just replace them. Glad I tried this product and will be ordering another package.

I have switched exclusively to using these when I cut my fingers, which because I am a woodworker, I do often. The main advantage of these is that they stay on and fully protect the cut from outside pathogens and dirt. I put a small amount of antibacterial lotion on the cut and roll these on. It is simple to leave these on all day and go about your business. I recommend you take them off at night, however, so that your wound gets oxygen. Using these my wounds heal in half the time.They are high quality silicon and can be cleaned with bleach or chlorox cleanup and used again. I also put these in the dishwasher and that works nearly as well.

Big help for my dislocated index finger. I 'buddy' it up with my middle finger to reduce swelling and discomfort. I really rely on these for my rehab.

I pulled the tendon in my index finger, and my doctor told me to get these. However, after a couple uses, they start to wear down and don't work anymore.

These finger protectors are helping my fingers to heal. I had been using finger cots on my cracked, rough, and thoroughly dry fingers (the result of tire dust at work), but when searching on Amazon for more cots to buy, these protectors popped up as a suggestion. I read the description, and they seemed like a great alternative, so I gave them a try. Very happy I did! They are EASY to put on and take off, WAY more comfortable than cots (no cutting off circulation), durable, and easy to keep clean. I spend my day doing clerical work, and I don't find that these get in the way of my productivity at all, not even when typing. Come in handy when leafing through a stack of papers too! I also like the way that they help the moisture level of the skin underneath them, which combined with applying hand cream first is really helping to heal my very badly damaged fingers. Durability is fantastic. I take them on and off several times a day, and there is no degradation whatsoever. Great product! Highly recommend!

After one is, it's ruined with not enough velcro to stick to the other side. The inside does not stick to finger, therefore slides continuously. Not a good product for the purpose and for the price. Now, they won't return item...

Not at all like the picture. The white velco strip was a lot smaller. The picture looked just like the one my dr gave me, these aren't even close.
