Hiya Hiya BAMBOO Interchangeable Knitting Needles: SMALL-5 inch tips

I have gone through SEVERAL interchangeable sets, Denise (bad cable with a mind of it's own), KnitPics (Knitter's Pride is the same, just different packaging), KA and now the Hiya Hiya. Knit Picks tend to come apart (horrible!) when you have a project of medium to larger size, or if you have been knitting your project for any length of time. I have not experienced that with either the KA or Hiya Hiya, (cable attachments spin) this is an excellent innovation/design. On the larger size KA needles there is an bump/edge near the connectors (irritating, sometimes I have to stop and push the yarn over this bump). As the Hiya Hiya cable sets break down into large and small attachments this bump/edge is diminished. Hiya Hiya combines the best of KnitPics and KA, having an excellent sharp tip for my lace projects and the spinning cable so that the attached cables do not separate from the needle. The bamboo surface on KA and Hiya Hiya are smooth, an excellent product and right on the money for value. I gave my Knit Pics away and am onto the Hiya Hiya and KA, rating the Hiya Hiya slighter higher.

These are really nice needles for the price. Perfect for someone like me who rarely if ever, uses needles larger than size 8's. I actually bought a single size 9 with an adapter to use with my "small" cables. So now I think I've got everything I will likely need. I've used Hiya Hiya interchangables needles for several years now and find them nice and "pointy", rarely come undone at the cable joins, have NEVER broken (I've replaced 6 different KnitPicks during the same length of time) and very comfortable to knit with.

I love Hiya Hiya interchangeables. They have very smooth joins so the yarn does not snag. Also, they do not come unscrewed while you are knitting. The bamboo is high quality and is a joy to knit with. The silk case they come in is so pretty too! I have tried a lot of interchangeable sets, and this brand and Addi are the best.

Love bamboo needles, Hiya ones are well-made, this purchase was fairly priced as well

I love these needles. The points are sharper than usual for bamboo needles although not as sharp as the Hiya Hiya metal needles.

I was skeptical about the quality of interchangeable bamboo needles at such small sizes, but these are excellent! I love knitting with them. A well-designed product and a delight to knit with.

These are great! They don't come apart mid-project like other interchangeable needles I have tried.

Love these needles, smooth, and yarns glide off as you knit.
