Archer Watch StrapsTop Grain Leather Quick Release Watch Straps

I decided to treat my 1999 Breitling Colt Ocean to a new 18mm wide leather strap by Archer Watch Straps and I’m so glad I did. Really good quality, looks the part, the contrasting white stitching in particular. It was easy to fit once I’d removed the existing metal bracelet. My only observation would be that it may be a bit small for bigger wrists.

Initially a little disappointed with the made in China tag but can’t fault the quality of the pewter coloured strap. Good quality, double sided stitched leather with nice cream coloured reverse, the strap is very comfortable and fits perfectly especially if you have slimmer sized wrists. Will more than likely replace with similar again in around six months which seems the optimum time for most leather straps.

Bit of a rip off for what it is, but my watch now has a new strap for the same price as a new watch. It comes in a tidy box and was easy to fit.

Not impressed. It is what it says, however, I was expecting higher leather quality.

A friend recommended this brand of strap to me. The quality and value for money is superb. Attachment to the watch case is easy - via a string-loaded lever. The only thing I found is that the watch case I got the strap for features a brushed steel finish. The buckle on the strap is polished steel. Despite a wide range of strap materials and colours, there is no buckle finish option. Only through some research, after purchase, I discovered Archer also sells buckle options (£8), featuring various finishes. I think Amazon is missing a trick, by not mentioning these options at the point of purchase. Will be getting a brushed steel buckle, soon.

I was very pleased with this selection. I was looking for a watch band that was as close to the original as I could find. This was not the least expensive but the quality and look is just what I was looking for. I've only been wearing it a few times but it is comfortable and I'm sure it will last a long time.
