I recently purchased the small crate for 10-20lbs for our new puppy who is a micro bernedoodle. Right now she is about 3-4lbs and fits easily in the crate. It has been perfect for crate training and traveling.The crate was easy to put together. It has the option for the door to open to the left or right. My 3yr old is able to open it and can pick it up and carry it (without the dog in it).The crate is well-constructed with a durable plastic and ensures the safety and comfort of our puppy. You can easily disassemble the crate and store it if you needed to. The crate also comes with a handy carrying handle that makes moving it a breeze.Despite its compact size, the crate offers ample space for our puppy to move around comfortably. The well ventilated sides provide airflow, ensuring our pet stays cool and relaxed during travel or at night.Overall, we are satisfied with this small portable crate for animals. This PetMate Pet Taxi is WONDERFUL to take my car to the vet!!!! VERY SPACIOUS, SUPER-SIMPLE TO PUT TOGETHER AND, MOST OF ALL, VERY STURDY!!!! I'm SO glad that I purchased this! I've used the PetMate Pet Taxi for YEARS and have ALWAYS believed in PetMate!!!! I LOVE this one...just like the several light blue carriers I still have!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

This is a well designed crate but is not a well manufactured crate. I had a little difficulty assembling it because a few of the openings for the screws to fasten the top to the bottom seemed blocked. I was able to force the screws through the plastic.More importantly, however, the thickness and weight of the plastic are not, in my opinion, heavy (thick) enough for safety for air travel. It is a very lightweight kind of plastic that has a lot of "give." I would not use it for air travel, but it is ideal for home use provided your dog is not a chewer, in which case your dog might be able to chew through the plastic.I am using the crate for a 35-lb sheltie that does not chew; I will primarily be using it for travel if we need to evacuate by car to a hotel. It would be fine at home, as well. It is attractive but is not, in my opinion, a good choice for air travel because the plastic is too flexible and might bend or crush inwards.

It was a very nice kennel. Very sturdy and great value for the money! Easy to build and very easy to open and close the door to get my dog out.

This is easy to assemble and is perfect to traveling in the car or crate training. This 28 inch size is perfect for a puppy or adult dog. It was cheaper to order on Amazon and way more convenient to have it delivered. Definitely recommend.*Update* ordered a second crate in the 19 inch size and it came missing the hardware so I could not assemble it. I reached out to Petsmate and they are mailing me new hardware. But overall my second order was a big hassle.

This is a good investment for my puppy to ride safely in the car and to sleep in at night. It is solid, and was easy to assemble, no problem at all. I am very pleased with this sturdy and convenient crate!

Works well . Snaps together quickly. We gave our pup the option to sleep on our bed in the crate or just on our bed and she chose to be in the crate on our bed. That says it all.

Seit wir unsere beide 31-35 kg schweren Hunde haben, d.h. seit 2020, sind wir dreimal bisher mit den Kennels per Direktflug in die USA geflogen. Die mitgelieferten Schrauben, die aus Kunststoff sind, haben wir nicht verwendet, sondern durch Metallschrauben ersetzt (eine Vorgabe der Airlines). Der Kennel entspricht dann den IATA Bestimmungen.Der Zusammenbau von 2 Kennels am Flughafen geht relativ flott. Fürs Trinkwasser haben wir Edelstahlnäpfe bestellt, die an die Gittertür angeschraubt werden können. So kann sie der Hund nicht mit Pfote oder Maul zerlegen oder entfernen. Dass der Kennel lt. Artikelbeschreibung nur 998 gr auf die Waage bringt, ist Quatsch. Der Kennel wiegt selbstverständlich mehr. Wir haben ihn noch nicht gewogen.
