Saw the difference in one wash. I used to use carrot soap but stopped a while ago because my husband was allergic. After he got his shots I was excited to try out this product. Its not a skin lightening soap which is what I was looking for. It just makes your skin feel and look amazing!

It gave me burn on my face. I was getting darker and darker. I had to stop using it.

It has a scent reminiscent of fall spices. It gets the skin clean and rinses away.

I found the scent of this soap bar to be actually quite soothing, even with the cloves. It is mostly a carrot scent with just a hint of clove and not at all overpowering. The soap lathers well on my face, and cleans extraordinarily well, in fact, better than any other facial soap I have tried in my 51 years. While 9 dollars is a bit high for a bar of soap, this one is well worth it. I'm so impressed with this soap. Highly recommend.

My skin is super sensitive & I sometimes have allergic reactions so I did a patch test prior to using this soap all over my body.I waited til the next day to make sure there was no irritation & thankfully there wasn't.My skin feels clean but not squeaky clean, which is a good thing because I don't like that stripped, tight feeling after washing with some soap.I also noticed that my skin felt moisturized, not sticky and it didn't feel like the soap remained on my skin after rinsing.Initially I thought this soap smelled very medicinal bc of the clove oil.  I expected it to be overpowering & linger long after showering.  It really doesn't.  And I didn't find that it competed (or intermingled) with the scent of my deodorant or body lotion.I think this is a reasonable price point for specialty soap, especially since its organic.Even though i think its reasonably priced, I still don't want to waste it & be buying a bar once a month either.So I did what I usually do with specialty soaps, I cut the bar into sections so I can leave one in the shower & store the rest. (Pls see pic attached).This way the entire bar won't melt prematurely.  I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way.Thank you for reading.

I am a bit of a soap addict - I love beautifully fragranced soaps, but unfortunately they don’t usually like me, being generally too drying for my skin, and that includes soaps like Cetaphil! I usually shower twice a day, and am coming up to 60 years old, so the dryness is kind of my own fault, but I feel horrible if I try to cut down to once a day. I have been using this soap now, twice a day for 5 days and have had no irritation or itchiness. I do use lotion on my legs afterwards, but have not needed lotion on the rest of my body. The bar has a light clove fragrance, and does contain clove essential oil. Clove oil is reputed to be a good antiseptic/bactericide, so although this isn’t advertised on the bar, I strongly suspect that it has some antibacterial properties and would be great for acne prone skin. The soap foams up easily and yet the bar doesn’t go soft or gunky. I’ve even used it on my face with no issues, just that lovely clean feeling that only bar soap seems to give me.

One of my biggest complaints about bar soap is how it leaves my skin feeling dry. I don't think I've had a bar of soap that didn't do that to me. It has a carrot cake scent, which I enjoyed very much. I've never been a big fan of floral scented soaps, so this was great.

Soap Factory Organic Carrot Soap Bar can cleanse your skin beautifully with all natural ingredients. The 3.88oz bar of soap is Cosmos Organic certified by Ecocert Greenlife and not tested on animals. The soap is made with carrot juice, clove essential oil, coconut oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, castor oil, and olive oil. The dark orange colored bar fit comfortably in my hand and when paired with water created a soft, full lather. The fragrance of the clove essential oil is very dominating while the carrot notes are soft in the background providing earthy foundation notes. If you are not a fan of clove fragrance, this soap may not be an ideal soap to choose.  It rinsed off effortlessly and left no residue on my skin and surprisingly not much fragrance despite being so powerful during my shower. It did a good job washing my skin. The product has a best by date of 22 months from the date that I received it. It is Made in the EU with globally sourced ingredients/components. It does not contain palm oil, synthetic ingredients, or artificial fragrances. I did not experience any skin irritations when using this product. This would make a fun addition to a homemade gift basket for a loved one. Overall, I was pleased with the results from using this product.
