Unbeivable quality, very tender, the New York steaks were some of the best steak I've had. I'm a retired chef, 45 years preparing some fine meals, I really think Certified Black Angus beef is top of the line, definitely prime grade, and the Grumpy Butcher aged these steaks to protection. I truly believe you get what you pay for, my experience has been nothing less than excellent. I definitely will be buying more and I really recommend Grumpy Butcher for that special meal. I'm very impressed. NICE JOB.

This was a gift.
This was a gift to my daughter who is on an all protein diet. She told me that they are the best steaks she has ever eaten. Very tender and very flavorful. I am pleased that I made the right choice with this gift. I may order some for myself.

Filet and strip perfection
Tested both & had a hard time picking a favorite. even flipped a coin😂 the filet was soft & lean while the strip had just the right amount of fat. filet is thick, so make sure to cook it longer

Don’t waste your money
Bought this thinking would be better than store bought meat and it was a waste of money. Got better product at HyVee for a whole lot less

Disappointing
I sent this to my sister and brother-in-law because they love thick, well marbled steaks for grilling. Those they received were only an inch thick and they finally chopped them up to make stew. Terribly disappointing holiday gift.

Too much money
New. York strip is a tad chewy. Not worth the price. Have not tried the filets yet. Hopefully they will be better Filets not much better. Would not purchase again
