Latex Sense 5cm Dunlop Latex Single Mattress Topper Single Bed | Euro Single 90x200cm

This product has completely TRANSFORMED the comfort of my old mattress. It has exceeded my wildest expectations for the effect it might have, and I only bought the 5cm topper. It isn't as though it has made my old (latex) mattress like new, it has EXCEEDED the comfort of when my mattress was new (it seems to me). It is a really good product, and comes with a nice double-thick zipped cover. Class. I highly recommend it, but make sure your bed base is sound. I also turned my old latex mattress first... to give the topper the best possible 'foundation'. Extremely happy:-)

Since our trip to Vietnam where all top hotel beds *** and above have to contain latex (they are the worlds second largest producer of rubber) I have been dissatisfied with our expensive and firm pocket sprung mattress at home. This 5 mm topper does the trick, it’s cool, and very comfortable and pressure relieving. The bed is slightly more bouncy than before but not such a problem. It seems well made so far after three weeks. I hope it lasts the 10 years it is guaranteed .

Latex is a lovely material for a mattress or topper, but this one really didn't make any significant difference to the softness of the mattress and for the price, you can do better.I sent the topper back within 30 days for a refund but Parcelforce managed to take a week to deliver it, now outside of the 30 days. We received no contact from Yanis, didn't know we'd missed the date until we chased the refund. By thus time we'd missed the insurance claim period for Parcelforce, so no refund, no claim and to top it off Yanis can't even return the topper I've paid for because they recycle returned toppers - without ever contacting us. Poor.

Soft, comfy, slept well, fitted our superking bed perfectly, not hot, didn't slip around at night

From the research I did I concluded that Dunlop latex is probably just as comfy as the more expensive process (and it is more environmentally friendly). I bought this to go on top of a very cheap and uncomfortable sprung single mattress. It has improved the comfort hugely though it is a slightly wobbly comfort because of the springs underneath (compared to the all in one latex mattresses we have on other beds). Also while 5cm is thick enough for comfort it can ride up a little at the corners when using a tight fitted sheet (not a major issue at all but an observation).

This topper was exactly what I’ve been looking for; not too soft and super supportive. It’s sitting atop a mattress that is slightly too firm. Since sleeping with this topper, I feel I sleep deeper, don’t toss and turn all night, and wake up feeling rested!

After putting this on top of an older mattress, there is some improvement in softness and comfort, but not a huge improvement. I wish now that I had ordered the thicker version. I was also surprised when I unzipped the cover to discover that one side of the topper is covered with a mesh fiber adhered to the foam. This side was clearly not meant to be slept on, but arrived with the wrong side up within the zippered case when it arrived. I am disappointed that the topper is not flip-able because of this to extend its life. I would not buy again.

Bought this to soften an extra firm Dunlopillo double mattress. Does a lovely job and holds its shape. Fully latex, so antibacterial like the mattress. Should last many years. All held in place with a John Lewis cotton mattress cover. A great nights sleep.
