This little light is amazing. I wish I had bought it earlier. There are three different light settings. The first is a bright LED blueish light, the second is a little dimmer, and the last is a yellow light(my favorite). I was hesitant buying only because I find the bright blue LED lights a little harsh on my eyes but the last setting is perfect.

This is a nice little book light. The clip is strong and easily grips a hardcover book. The variations of light intensity are good -- from bright and medium white light to a yellow softer light. Easy to switch on and off, and flexible arm. Glad I found this.

The light this thing puts out is fantastic. I took these pictures in my bedroom with all the lights off and blackout curtains. It's pretty hard to see your hand in front of your face.You can see the different light colors in the pictures, but I try to use it with the most yellow color for nighttime reading purposes.The battery is solid also, I've had this for about a month now and have yet to recharge it with near daily use.One little niggle I have is that the clamp part is pretty beefy, so it's a little unwieldy with paperbacks, but it's just something I've gotten used to. I wouldn't steer anyone away based on that.

I have to take a laptop with me anytime I travel, and I usually get up at 5 or 6AM, way before my family. With this little light I am able to sit in a dark hotel room and finish up some work before my family gets up. Exactly what I wanted.I haven't seen the battery die yet. I use it a couple hours, then charge it when I leave. I used it this morning for the first time in months and the charge was still good.I don't care about the light colors so much or the intensities, and just put it on the first setting that's 'on'.I clip it to the top of my laptop so it shines right down on the keyboard. The pictures showing it standing on the side make one edge a little too dark for me. I was worried about clipping it to my 2-in-1 laptop, but it's got a soft rubbery grip and has just enough pressure to hold itself in place.The other nice thing is that you can easily unclip it and use it as a mini flashlight.If you don't have a lit keybaord, or want something a little brighter and more flexible (flashlight, booklight, etc), I think this is a slick little piece of equipment.

Bad on me. I wanted something wireless, which it is, but found this to be very small-perhaps for reading. It didn't suit my need to illuminate large music books, so I passed it along to my grandkids. If you're looking for a small book light, I'm guessing that this would meet your needs.Update: Seller was quite concerned about my satisfaction and went out of their way to please me. So I've upgraded my review. The light didn't work for me only because it was a smallish book light. As a book light, however, it seems to be what a nighttime reader would like.

This book light is great and certainly functions as intended. Its very lightweight and is adjustable (3 settings) from a bright white light to a more orange hued light. There Are only 2 improvements I would like to see. 1) the neck of the light is not very adjustable. Its flexible so you can move it in different places up and down. These positions are sufficient to read a large size book thouroughly but there are times I would like a little more light out to the edges.The past lights I have had allowed me to adjust the neck of light to help see the edges of my book a little better. 2) the light works so well I cant use it in the middle of the night or it disturbs my sleeping husband. It lights up the majority of the room. Overall for the price it is a great light but has a couple limitations.

I liked the light type option and how strong the clip was.Did not like the stickiness of the clip - flung it across the bed a couple times trying to open it. Also did not like the lack of stability in the neck. Was difficult to change positions and get it to stay.Then it quit working completely after less than two months.Not getting this one again so back to my search...

The fact that it does work as a reading light prompted me to give it 3 stars instead of two. The reasons I don't care much for it are: This light jiggles if you move your book (in my case, a kindle) to the point of annoying. It doesn't bend easily and is flimsy. The mini usb port is between the book holder and the neck of the light is difficult to get to plus the usb cord is quite short. I would have returned it except I needed it at that moment and have used it so will keep it. I have ordered a different one and so far I love that one but will wait a week or so before I write a review on it. My first ever reading light which stopped working after a couple of years was wonderful (from the same company as this review).
