Way too expensive
Fogs up even with the anti fog strips, unless under water the whole time. I tried this for river wrafting. The camera heats up and shuts off after 15min or so. And it does start to fog up. It needs the water for cooling. I knew i might fall out, which i did, and didnt want to rusk ruining my new camera. So i put it in this. It was 87 outside. Camera couldnt cool properly. In general im disappointing with the camera, insta360 3x as far as over heating issues. I bought this one vs go pro to avoid over heating shut off. But in high 80s weather it over heats first time in about 22min and every 8min or so after. Because if your still doing what ever it is you want to film you will let it cool for 5min or so and try again. Im disappointed. This was of course without the under water case.

Carcasa de buceo Insta X3
Para mi viaje a la Isla de la reunión queria utilizar mi 360 X3 sin ponerla en riesgo.La carcasa ha cumplido y a protegido totalmente mi camara.Recomiendo leer detenidamente las instrucciones para una experiencia positiva.Creo que ha salido al mercado una version mejorada pero esta cumple perfectamente.

Great Quality dive housing.
Such an impressive piece of kit for what it is.I ummed and ahhhed about which dive case to get for my Insta360 X3. They have ones for £45 and this one for £79.Should I buy a cheap one? Then I tried them both.Here’s what I found about this case:1- Clips together incredibly easily, making it 100% watertight.2- Buttons are easily pressed and used whilst it’s inside the casing.3- The camera slots in position without moving once it’s clipped in. Solid!4- Comes with anti-fog inserts, with a little slot in the side to slide them in. Cheaper casings don’t have this and steam up when the camera heats up under water. Very important!5- It says scratch resistant. Which I haven’t tried yet, but it does feel like it’s made of a different type of plastic to the cheaper one. Unlikely it’ll crack or implode underwater.6- Warranty will be covered by using only official accessories.Overall I’m pleased I opted for the official Insta360 because although it’s around £30 more, that is definitely worth it in my book.
