Great kit for beginners
I bought this kit, but you really don’t need the stand. You can just use any plastic container with low sides and tip the jars at an angle. I’m successfully sprouting regularly now and it’s great! Broccoli sprouts have the highest sulforaphane content. I use about 3 tablespoons of seeds and soak overnight. I count the next day as my 1st sprouting day. In 3-4 days, I have filled the jar to capacity with fresh sprouts. Lay them on a paper towel in a rectangular glass food container and keep in the fridge up to 5 days or so.

Easy to clean and use
I took a chance and bought these to see if they were an improvement on a two tier plastic box style of sprouting kit. These have been easy to use and clean. The jackets are also really helpful when getting the sprouts to start growing. I do 2 jars at a time so I can get a constant flow of sprouts that are ready to eat whilst some are still in the growing phase. They've been a lot more successful than the plastic tier box I've got so won't bother using that anymore. It really fits perfectly there! And I think the size of the glass is great too!

Tray is impossible to keep clean
It’s a functional sprout system but unfortunately I cannot get the bottom plastic white piece clean no matter what I try. Would be better to have a ceramic bottom piece maybe. Would not recommend purchasing this set, would suggest finding an alternative

Might Be Wasted Money
I wanted these to work so badly but small trays I already have work better. The issue I had with these is that they rot the seed covers when they fall loose and they need more careful attention than my trays did, but they are too cramped for these mung beans. Mung beans took more time than claimed to produce sprouts in this method and they were all curled up inside the containers. Now I am left with overpriced jars with covers and a tray with a rack and I’m not sure what to use them for. Instead I bought a large two-piece collendar for mung beans and burlap with plates to weight them down, a towel to cover it all. This way the beans can still breathe and will lay flat and not curl as they did in the jars. I'll check and water once per day and let the burlap keep them damp. This seems more simple and I've seen this done with success. I suppose now I'll use the neoprene covers as huge beverage koozies? Maybe I'll try growing something else like red arrow radish sprouts because the mesh strainer holes are simply too large for broccoli or alfalfa seeds. We'll see but I haven't entirely given up yet. If there is a way to use these I'll find it eventually.

Home grown bean sprouts in days!
Great product, A+ packaging with the jars and fast shipping! I experimented with lighting from the kitchen counter to my window light with the first round. As long as the sprouts are rinsed and the jars are drained well it seems to be very easy to achieve great results. Bean sprouts are expensive at the store so this kit gives a healthy option with little effort. I used Salad mixed sprouts purchased separately.

Great value
I'm new to the sprout growing thing. These work wonderfully! I easily make sprouts for my meals and also sprouts for our chickens!! I can start a jar, wait 2 or 3 days, start more and continuously have yummy treats for our egg layers!
