OXO Good Grips Angled Measuring Jug, 500 mL

Always read the description! We bought this to replace our previous OXO which had given years of good service and was delight to use. It did not however survive a 2m fall onto floor tiles, the handle snapped off. The new one is just as good but unlike it's predecessor's 1 Litre capacity has a capacity of 500 millilitres - always read the description!!! Its still a good measuring jug and we don't miss the larger capacity as much as we thought we would. We have a number of OXO utensils and gadgets all are very well made with a thought through design that make them very functional and comfortable and easy to use.

At last, a measuring jug with "cups" measurements. Saved me a lot of hassle and the angled inset is a stroke of genius - you can read what you're measuring at a glance from above. Didn't realise it would be plastic at this price, but overall a great buy. The OXO Good Grips range is always of good quality.

Not much to say -- works very well; the top-visible markings are very convenient, as having both metric and cup measurements. Comfortable grip as well. Definitely worth the money. I've had it in a dishwasher several times and there's no visible wear, but of course the real test for that is 10 years from now (-

I already have the larger 1 litre jug and love it - would never go back to having one without internal measurements! I regularly use it, throw it in the dishwasher and it's perfect. I thought I'd treat myself to the smaller 500ml one, which is of course very similar, but was disappointed to find UK Fluid Ounces on the side instead of Cups. I've just come back to check again - all the pictures on this listing clearly show cups... The vast majority of my recipes use cups... while this is still a perfectly good jug for things like gravy it's a bit inconvenient for measuring anything :-(

This item is a really clever piece of kitchenware and a must have in anyone's kitchen cupboard. I like the idea of there being different size jugs too, but this one was just the right size for my usage, Very handy.

Does what you’d expect and the calibrations are clear but was smaller than I expected. Still useful though.

Fantastic product I've looked online and happy to see they make other products which I have already purchased,you get what you pay for and it's quality stuff worth every penny

Super facile à lire

Es de plástico. El material es ligero pero de buena calidad, se agarra fácilmente y con firmeza. Me gusta. Se ve muy bien en la cocina y su funcionalidad de poder ver las medidas desde arriba es muy útil y acertada. Mi única recomendación sería que al ser de plástico, no se utilizara para medir aceites o productos grasosos que dejen residuo, ya que será difícil de limpiar y de quitar la sensación de grasa. También no lo recomendaría para medir líquidos MUY calientes, no lo he probado pero el plástico se siente delgado y no se si sea resistente al calor.
