Great Expectations The Graphic Novel: Original Text (British English)

Any story by Charles Dickens is good to read no matter hat form its in.

I buy these for my nephews and nieces who are now 9 - 11 years old and they love them. Having read them they can recount characters, story and plot, even from the original text versions. The children love the graphics, which make complex English accessible and bring the stories to life. Where a Classical Comics title is not available disappointment is tangible. As new titles come into production I am buying them in advance for future birthdays and Christmas gifts. Truly superb. Thank you.

Excellent . Really good introduction to reading Dickens since all dialogue etc. is taken from original text. Brought the book to life for a reluctant reader.

The book is a very good way to introduce a youngster to the language and stories of Charles Dickens. Enjoyed both by the child and the grandparent reading it.
