I used this hardwire kit to install my dash cam, and it worked amazing. Super easy to use, clear instructions, and the connection points were straightforward. It comes with multiple adapters, which made it simple to fit into the fuse box on my 2011 Honda Pilot. Everything powered up correctly on the first try, and it’s absolutely worth the extra money just to avoid having wires hanging all over the car. Clean install, reliable connection, and no complaints.

I bought this for a Viofo A119 Mini 2 to be wired into a 2010 Honda Accord. This kit did the trick perfectly - the wires were long enough and it included fuse taps for all the various sizes of fuses that have existed in the past 30 years (maybe more). I encountered zero difficulties installing my dashcam with this kit and would actively seek this kit out again for future installs.

Used for my truck to install a dash cam to come on with the truck. Does it job and has caused no issues with my vehicle.

The first one I had delivered failed within the fisrt day. I chalked it up as bad luck and installed the same replacement. All is fine. Easy installation ont he wiring part (not so much the ford fusion fuse box location

Most dash cams come with wiring that depends on using your USB port and/or the 12v (the old cigarette lighter type power). In my car, those are very unhelpfully located in the storage in the center dash, which gives no good way to run the power without unsightly wires. Enter this kit! It runs off the car's interior fuse box, which is usually under the dashboard. You pull one of your fuses, put in the one from the kit (they have four different sizes for different sized fuses), then piggyback your fuse into the system from the kit. The kit even comes with a tool for pulling the fuse out, which fits most fuse sizes. It didn't fit ours, but our car had a fuse puller in the fuse box for us to use. The lines run beautifully from the fuse box to the front camera and from there to the back camera, tucking under the interior panels. It took us all of 30 minutes to set up the entire wiring and cameras with the kit, and there are no unsightly wires.

Buyer beware: This is simply a 12/24V DC to USB C converter with a shutoff at 11.6V. This will NOT power a dash cam in parking mode since the cable does not have an switched ignition wire. The camera will remain in driving mode even when ignition has been turned off and will completely power off when the shutoff switch detects battery voltage between 11.6V. This means that your battery will be continuously low and you won't get the parking recording function. Updated 9/3/25: customer service was great, when I sent the kit back I got a prompt refund. Added one star for that. Otherwise it is well designed, you get nano, micro and mini fuses to tie this into 12V. You still need to find a screw and a blank chassis spot to hook up ground.

Was looking very good quality but wire was unable to pass power. I tried everything in right way ,bothered was a power on fuse side, but nonlower at usb side. It took extra 30 mins to make this troubleshoot. And it is useless now. Please check the products seriously.

Previously, I bought the wires, connectors, power unit, etc. separately, and then waste time assembling it all. This kit is amazing, it has everything to connect any device. It took me no time to install it. Always buy a USB-C one to future-proof it, and then adapters for mini USB or micro USB as needed. The only downside is that it has a stupid junction box near the USB-C connector that sticks out.
