High quality brake lubricant. Works great on brake slider pins and lubrication points. Seems durable and long lasting. Use gloves when applying as it is greasy.

I used this product while working as a technician at a local Toyota Dealership. Worked then, and its my go-to on my Toyotas braking systems(2014 Camry SE, 2016 Camry LE, 2010 Corolla S, 2016 Camry XSE).Great product to lubricate pins without traditional "grit" of a copper antisieze alternative. Lube worked fine there were no squeaking noises from the brakes.

I honestly tried to avoid buying this stuff, but I must admit that even brake greases that are supposed to be good for all brake applications (including the very expensive Permatex stuff), it's this that everyone recommends. I had recently watched a YouTube video where the mechanic I follow did a short on this product (it wasn't even a promotional video) and he said to not use anything else... but Sil Glyde for brake slide pins.I think people often get hung up on what works with rubber... and this stuff *is* safe to use in applications with rubber (ie, it won't cause it to degrade), but the magic of this stuff is that it also stands up to the very harsh environment (read: extremely HOT) where many greases simply start to get hard/solidify and then bind up your slide pins. I had this happen with a car that I recently worked on, the rear brake slide pins - I needed to use pliers to get the slide pin out, and then I had to use a rotary tool to clean up the rust on the slide pin. It was a mess... and here's the deal, this 12 oz tub of Sil Glyde from Amazon is about the best deal you'll find Sil Glyde, anywhere, and you can use it as a general silicone grease, esp when it comes the grease applied on or near rubber. So, again, you don't have to be a mechanic to buy a 12 oz tub of this stuff - just use it for other applications, as it's great for many other applications beyond vehicle brake slide pins.

I've only used about 1/3 of this tube and I've applied it liberally on two vehicles brakes. All the glide pins and pad slides. It's a clear silicone, not too thick not too thin easy to wipe off if it gets somewhere you don't want it but stays in place if left alone. After I applied it all the parts moved much better then before. It also has a very large temperature range, could be used for many applications other than just brakes as well. I recommend.
