BERTA Professional Hair Dryer 1875W Tourmaline Ceramic & Negative Ionic Hair Blow Dryer, 2 Speed 3 Heat Settings Cool Button with 4 Attachments

I bought this dryer for traveling and it did not disappoint. It has a sleek design and comes in pretty jewel toned colors. I have weakness in my wrists and found this dryer to be lighter than others I have owned because it is a bit smaller and has a slimmer handle. This was definitely a plus! Despite the fact that it is smaller than the hair dryers I’ve typically used in the past, it worked just as well as a larger professional dryer. I have another every day dryer that I’m obsessed with, but because this is so light and produces great results, I will ditch the hotel hair dryers and will be packing this in my suitcase for any future trips!

I’ve only been using this blow dryer for about a month, so I can’t say anything about its durability yet, but I’m very happy with the power and attachments of this dryer.I have very thick long hair, and this dries as fast as some of the salon dryers for 1/2 the price. One of the attachments has a little comb on it which is perfect helper for getting some volume but straightening at the same time.It is a little bulky, so not great for travel, but great for home use.

First use comparison with the Andis 82105. On the left side of my head I used the Berta Tourmaline dryer and the Andis on the right side. The Berta's heat was gentle. I did complain that it took a long time to dry (I was running late) but then I had a thick product in my hair. The Andis' heat was frying HOT. I thought it was drying my hair faster but when I though I was done because my hair was pulled straight and felt dry, but the roots had not dried. I then used the Berta to dry the roots because the Andis made my hair feel dry and more hair came out in the comb (no hair came out when I used the Berta). The Berta then dried my roots without drying my hair. The Berta is very lightweight, which is great because I held the butt of the dryer while drying because the buttons kept switching when I held the handle. The Andis is heavier but the switches didn't turn off like the Andis. This Berta Tourmaline is also lighter than the Berta Ionic Hairdryer. Currently, the side I dried with the Andis feels dry. I wanted to compare the Andis 82105 , which is also a tourmaline ceramic ionic dryer, to this Berta because of the different styling. I was ready to keep both because of the Andis' styling and reputation, but I may send it back because who wants dry hair that comes out because of the dryer comb? I will try drying one more time with the Andis before deciding to return it. I am definitely keeping the Berta. It is a winner. I would give it 5 stars but this was only my first use.

It works very well and dried my hair pretty well without feeling dry. I love the fact you can adjust the heat and also love the comb that comes with it. The only negative will be the weight but at the end I was able to manage.

This "Berta" hair dryer was a big disappointment. It's large and heavy (weighs 1 lb. + 2 oz. on my kitchen scale). Then add the attachments and that's more weight. It blows very strong on high. It's difficult to hold for any length of time - my arm gets tired. The placement of the controls is in the way of your fingers. A poor design - I kept accidentally turning it to a different setting. And the noise! It's way too loud! I returned it.

Great job as advertised, the cool button locks in the style. Not too heavy either. I agonize over dryers as they can really make or break a style. This one is great.

I love this dryer. It has all of the attachment needed for short, long, medium hair. The diffuse saves a lot of time drying my hair. It's not so loud and I love the way the cord can be wrapped and attached back together with the Velcro attached. I just hate I couldn't choose the purple one.

The product is really good, just wish the buttons were in a different location.
