UTG 3.9" Red/Green Circle Dot Reflex Sight

Outstanding sight. Large field of view, clear reticle (less so if you have astigmatism) and I really like the controls. On the rear of the sight, you have R and G buttons. You tap the button to turn on either red or green, tap again to cycle through the brightness settings and hold to turn it off. The adjustments to zero the sight are also clearly marked which is a nice touch overlooked on lots of sights in this price range. The clicks are audible and I had no trouble getting a solid zero. The choice of battery is a bit odd. I don't recall the exact type but it was a small watch or laser battery so I don't know what kind of life I'll get out of this. Not something I care about at all, I just mentioned it because people seem to think that not having to replace a battery once in a while justifies a $700 red dot. I do notice some glare when shooting it but again, not a big deal to me. I put this on a Ruger 10/22 but I like it so much that I will likely buy another for one of our AR15s. It is a cowitness height for the AR but I like that on the 10/22 because I don't have to get my cheek so low. Overall, I'm really impressed by the bang for your buck on this. I also appreciate the discreet branding. I hate when I buy something with a billboard on the side of it.

This sight makes it difficult to hate it because up front it is clearly very sturdy and aesthetically looks fantastic. My primary issue with this sight is the brightness is outta control. The lowest setting for either green or red is VERY bright in the dark, and causes reflection and washout in low light conditions. I almost wonder if moderately used batteries would alleviate this problem by making the optic dimmer. I will have to tinker with it to attempt to dim the intensity of the red dot being emitted. If you’re looking for an optic you only see being used in the sunny daytime this is a great option for the cost. For something you expect to work effectively in any lighting condition this may not be a good option.

Great optic. Crisp circle dot reticle. Feels sturdy. Easy to install and zero. Gives you that eotech feel without emptying your bank. UTG makes some great products so gave this optic a chance. Will update review after putting rounds through it this weekend. Update - put about 100 rounds through my rifle with this optic attached. Stayed attached nice and tight. Zero'd easily using a hex wrench. Reticle was plenty bright for midday. After sighting my irons and the optic my shots were spot on. Not sure why the first reviewer tried using this optic for precision shooting at 250 yards and then gave a poor rating. I recommend this optic and would buy again. Added more pics (camera quality isn't great, the reticle is really sharp and larger than it looks in pics).

The sight picture is slightly fuzzy however for the money I can live with that. Sturdy and well made but most importantly accurate.

I love a UTG scope I bought earlier this year, so this was a no-brainer for my shotgun, with it’s wide field of view, perfect for shooting trap and 5-stand, I thought. Unfortunately, on the first day I used it, the lens shifted somehow, and the ring and dot went WAY high in the finder, so far that it was not possible to adjust it back to center. I returned it. Sadly, the UTG mount I bought to hold this scope also damaged the finish on my shotgun, and that cost me $270 to repair. A bad buy all the way around.

This is a great optic for the money. It has two small issues. The first one is the the plastic near the halo light source is reflective, and causes a glare in full sunlight. The other is that it’s brightest setting is too bright in low light situations. Both issues are easily fixed but if either of these issues are a deal breaker, then this optic isn’t for you.

Pro: 1. Build quality seems to be very good, steady and strong 2. Dot is very clear, most clear I have ever seen. 3. Electric component sealed by enclosure Cons: 1. Possibly due to no special anti-reflection lens coating or not using dual panel technology as Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro does, this sight has a lot of reflection from surrounding and from the the red dot itself. This kills the deal for me, I really wanted to like this sight. This sight is for absolute co-witness with front post sight. If you use this sight indoor under light, you will see second dot on the front iron post sight black surface (ghosting images, like a mirror ), very annoying. I tried everything but I couldn't get rid of the ghosting images. You will frequently see a strip of lighting at 1/3 of lens from the bottom if used indoor under light. 2. Lens has no anti-reflection coating 3. Unlikely used dual panel technology to reduce ghosting images, especially for additional magnifier. Comparison with Ade Advanced Optics Crusader. 1. Crusader has very clear dot as well (not as good as UTG but close), however it has best field of view. Due to smart design and shape of lens, even though the width of both sights are very close, the view of field seems 20% bigger and better than UTG. 2. Crusader has very little reflection issue, I am not seeing a lot of ghosting images or dual or triple dots when using indoor under light and used before a magnifier 3. What is the fatal error for Crusader is, as other reviews said, if you look at the bottom of the Crusader, you will find the internal electric board is wide exposed, not sealing no enclosure. That means, any rain or water, the main board will likely be damaged. This is really bad design and deal killer. UTG, on the other hand, is well sealed and protected by enclosure. 4. Build quality of UTG seems much better and military quality and UTG is shorter than Crusader. I really wanted to like UTG, but the reflection and ghosting images kill the deal for me. I am waiting for UTG Gen2. Hopefully they can add coating and use dual panel technology in Gen 2. +++ Update: I am uploading some photos for you to see how bad the lens is through the lens itself and through matching UTG magnifier. Doesn't matter day or night, away too many reflection and ghosting images. Note, I am also couple it with UTG 3X magnifier which per UTG document is confirmed to be full compatible with this particular sight. I have a picture to show that. The magnifier in all pictures is the UTG 3X magnifier which is very popular. This lens is almost completely unusable and this product should be re-designed from all those flaws. Hopefully the UTG product manager can read this review and design a better product. BTW, when I bought this UTG sight, I also bought Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro and Ade Crusader for the purpose of comparison, they don't have the mirror effect on the surface of the front post sight. They are not completely free of ghosting images, but this UTG is 20 times worse. I give UTG 2 stars because the build quality of the sight is very good and kind of close to EOTech feeling. It will be ideal if someone can combine UTG enclosure and Sightmark lens.

3eme commande: mise a jour le 27/07/21 Les délai de retour sont dépassé j'ai du tiré 10 fois avec ce viseur (3 eme) la vitre cette fois ci ne s'est pas brisé mais carrément décoller pour résumer cet article est tout simplement une blague beaucoup trop chère qui m'aura laissé un goût amer et dont le prix devrait être revu a la baisse Pour que les futur acheteur sache que ce n'est qu'un mauvais assemblage de matériaux fragile fait pour les pistolet a eau. 2eme commande : Mise a jour le 8 fevrier 2021 : j'ai reçu un produit de remplacement il est arrivé fèlé !!! J'ai voulu réitéré le remplacement mais je n'est plus cette options 1ere commande : 6/02/2021 Je regrette amèrement cet achat j'avais fait des économie pour justement ne pas achete du bas de gamme j'aurais du m'abstenir car a ce prix la c'est honteux Commandé hier reçu aujourd'hui la boite n'était pas scotché j'aurais du me méfié impossible de tourné la vis up pour le zerotage je regarde donc de plus près et la le cauchemar commence ... Énormément de trace de vis forcé abîmé j'entend même un petit morceau qui se balade a l'intérieur en le secouant!!!

Prodotto eccellente, Quando si parla di UTG non si sbaglia mai....visto che tutti gli accessori sono applicabili e utilizzabili per armi vere!!! Unico "neo" é che la confezione é arrivata per meta' aperta e danneggiata.....ma il puntatore é perfetto..... alluminio anodizzato (aeronautico), con stampa del seriale prodotto....consiglio a tutti quelli che non vogliono scendere a compromessi per la propria replica da Softair (montato su GBBR - MTR16 TOKYO MARUI).

Mein UTG Reflex Sight wurde leider beschädigt geliefert, mit einem Sprung in der Scheibe. Update: schneller und einfacher Tausch. Die Qualität sieht gut aus. Sobald es ausprobiert wurde schreibe ich Euch wie es funktioniert.

Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis in Ordnung. Habe das Rotpunkt auf meiner Haenel CR223 montiert und es funktioniert tadellos. Die Einstellung der Beleuchtung reicht für Indoor genauso wie für offene Schießstände. Um das Geld ein super Teil. Klare Kaufempehlung!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tiene la taratura e non smette di funzionare. Provato duro su intera giornata di tiro operativo montato su M4 cal 223Rem. Lo consiglio.
