SmallRig is hands down my favorite brand for rigging my Sony FX3, a7RV, and a7SIII. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything is so precisely machined and solid. I purchased a DJI RS3 MINI and already had a Smallrig baseplate for my camera but, DJI designed there quick connect system to be parallel with the lens rather than the camera so this was keeping me from using my existing baseplate. This product solved this issue perfectly. All I had to do was slide off the DJI plate and install the Smallrig boom💥. There attention to detail also shocked me, such as the tension levers being the same color as the rest of the tension levers on the gimbal and also the same black color (see pictures below). In my opinion it actually looks more factory on the gimbal rather than the official DJI one that came with the gimbal. Also the product is all metal construction, and the tension knob for the arca Swiss attachment is polished so it does not feel like it cuts your fingers while tightening This fixed my issue perfectly while also not effecting the Fit, Functionality, ease of use, Stability, or quality of the gimbal. I highly recommend this product to anyone, it worked right out of the box and is a great value for the money! Have a Blessed day, and happy tinkering!!!

Great integration with my Ronin Mini. Easy on/off for camera, extremely functional. I think this was a great value for what I paid for it.

First of all, I have to give shout out to DJI for making a fantastic gimbal. The only issue I have with it is the proprietary clamp for mounting the camera. I use an Arca-Swiss SmallRig L-bracket mount for my Sony A7IV to use on my tripod and it is an absolute pain having to remove the L-bracket then install the DJI clamp mount whenever I switch between my tripod and the gimbal. The SmallRig Arca-Swiss quick release clamp solves my problem. Ingenious! I can now seamlessly and quickly mount my camera onto the gimbal and tripod. This product is inexpensive but extremely well made and designed. Great job Small-Rig!

I wanna put 5 star because i really like it ! Good make , good quality , super quality but it can’t use for my canon R50 cage from Smallrig also ! The rail is the opposite side to slide it in ! I can understand why they make the R50 cage like this because the battery housing of R50 ! Love it but have to be return it cause it can not use for CANON R50 SMALLRIG CAGE

I have the rs3 and i use arca swiss plates for my tripods in that orientation. So when i got this gimble i was not happy. This piece plus the longer arm has changed my feelings about the rs3 mini gimble. I shoot on a fx3 and tamron 28 to 75 or 75 to 180 usually

I purchased a RS3 mini and have a built in Arca swiss L bracket plate on my EOS R and wanted to continue to leave it on and use it. This replacement lower attachment plate was a game changer and allowed me to easily do just that! It works so well that I can easily drop on my camera and no extra fumbling. Absolute must have item for RS3 mini owners.

The very well designed RS3 SmallRig Arca-Swiss adapter mounts easily to the RS3. I have a SmallRig Rhinoceros cage mounted to my a7RV. The only way I can attach the SmallRig adapter to the camera & RS3, is to remove the adapter from the RS3, attach the adapter to the a7RV, then attach both to the RS3. The problem IS, the Rhinoceros cage only allows the rig to slide onto the RS3 from the left side of the camera. The Rhinoceros Cage does not allow mounting from the right. Given the very secure mounting protocol of the Rhinoceros cage to the a7RV, I will never remove the cage from the camera. The cage is also great for handholding when shooting a stills assignments. Not a very convenient process with the only important benefit being, I’m all Arca-Swiss compatible. Once mounted, very stable.
