Once you learn how to use it, these work GREAT. This is the 2nd one I bought -- the other has been turning our porch light on and off for several years. This one now operates our landscaping lights and appears to be just as good quality and suited for outdoor use. The timer that came with our landscape light set quit working after a few years -- It could still be turned on ad off manually but timer quit working - so we attached one of these to it and not we have a working timer again. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Previously bought one years ago that is still in use. Ease of use:Takes awhile to figure it out but then it is very easy!

Purchased two of these for our yard. Solar lights aren't bright enough but I didn't want to constantly be plugging in daily. This was a perfect solution. Our lights come on at sunset and off at midnight. Perfect solution for a stress free yard. Quality is great, easy to program, and has been water resistant in our two rain storms since installing.

These timers hold up very well. Been using two of them for years on my holiday lighting projects. Easy to adjust. The water protection cover works well for outdoor use. Have not caused GFCI tripping.

I have had one of these timers for 6 years and it was outside in all kinds of weather, snow, sleet, wind, rain and 100+ degrees. Just lately it started to lose time and would turn on 20 minutes later each night. As it controls the icicle lights I have in my bottle tree I had to replace it. It is easy to program, has 2 plugin outlets and a plastic cover to keep weather out. If you are looking for a 7 day, same time on and off, reliable timer this is it.

This was the perfect solution to my rentals outdoor patio bistro lights! I just ask one unit to set the timer to go off at a particular time so it doesn’t bother the other unit. I bought this primarily to have patio lights That turn on and off at the designated time I wanted. Off being more important than on because I have a tendency to forget to turn a light off and then see it from my bedroom window and have to get up and go unplug the lights at 2:00 in the morning. It works well! It's waterproof! Bang for the buck! I think I will buy another one for Holiday lights for my front yard!

I have been using this item pretty regularly since Christmas time for a variety of different color string lights that I can get depending on the holiday or time of year. I like that it has the cove to keep the elements out and i love that there are 2 outlets on the time for 2 different items. It's nice sized. Not too big or small. Easy as any timer to set up. So far it's never failed.
