Q: The sim card seems blocked with plastic. does this item have a usable sim card slot? if yes, where is it?

Slot located on the top, use pin to pop it open, it has 2 Sim card slots.

Q: Does this phone have good sound for someone that is hard of hearing

It's loud enough that when watching movies or video, my wife asks me to turn the phone down, it makes her not to hear tv well. It also depends to the media sound. I am satisfied with loudness

I'm on Free Up and that is GSM, so I'd guess yes. But you should ask the manufacturer. Note I'm only getting 3g speeds!

What does not taking call properly mean, is it sound, connection ? Normally restarting phone resets connection. More info needed

Not a good phone

Good looking, decent screen but surprisingly slow, like a Motorolla on the 90's. Bought it as a second travel wise phone, and not a decent performance so far. Return it on 3 days of use
