Sturdy, great output, love these!
10 stars for these panels! We placed them on a sailboat to keep a lead acid battery set charged. They run a mini fridge, charge phones, run lights, charge computers, and run a depth sounder. They do all this and more. We trailer the boat with these in place on the stern pulpit, they handle interstate speeds and high winds with zero problems for the past year.1000% would buy again!

Works up to specs, but when not on sale it cost almost the same as 2 100w panels.
It works well up to specs rating. But i do not know if a bi-facial panel works any better as just a one sided panel ??? The price is good on sale....I do like the tiny bubble magnifiers built into one side of this panel. Seems to collect light rays at almost any angle. Not angle sensitive so that is a plus. Would work great on a flat roof like house or RV roof. Plus it weighs a lot less than an aluminum glass framed panel. Plus it's flexible to match contour of a RV roof up to a point, don't flex it too much. However needs spacers underneath to catch light on bottom of panel and for cooling panel. Plus one side of panel uses different colored solar light gathering diodes cells. Not sure how well bi-facial panels work ?!?Seems to be inconsistent different colored diode cells on one side. Probably okay. Works better on face side, more voltage and amp output. So who knows without testing.Front face is all the same quality. Has nice aluminum thin frame around perimeter. Nice looking and light weight. Looks durable enough. Has a good warranty. Time will tell.

As advertised
Initial testing on a tabletop outside in direct sun showed all 4 100-watt panels were within the advertised specifications. I measured open circuit voltage, short circuit current, and power output using an MPPT charge controller connected to a 12V battery. I then installed all 4 panels on the pilothouse roof of my trawler (using 3M VHB tape) and the system is working as expected. I will update this review if anything goes bad with the panels, but otherwise no news is good news. Be aware that although these panels are flexible, they are still fragile and you should treat them as such when handling. From some of the reviews, it does not sound as if everyone understands this. "Monocrystalline" should be the key word to let you know they are breakable. If you are careful with them during installation, they will treat you right.

Great panel -ordered more
Efficient panel at a great price, ordered more after initial installation. Paired it with Victron SmartSolar charger.Have not seen 100W; maximum observed output is 89W from any single panel. That said, this panel has a prismatic surface that appears to focus sunlight at lower angles. My observation is the overall output throughout the day seems better than my other ‘glass’ fixed panels because of this effect.Other points of note:Mounting eyelets ID is small. I needed to remove to use my preferred LOXX fasteners to mount. The wires exits the panel in opposite directions from the ‘box’ on the panel. For my installation this forced me to loop one wire under the panel so I could get both wires to run parallel to each other.Unsure of durability yet. I suspect UV will take its toll over the years but easy to replace as they are certainly priced right.Great value!

Dents on panel frame sides, poor packaging, good panels performance
(Minus 1st star) First set of Bifacial panels arrived with multiple dents on panel’s aluminum frame edges. Box did not have visible damage, used panels? Quick tested panels working but who wants to buy new products with dents? Returned and ordered a new set.(Minus 2nd star) Second set arrived quickly today, the box looks like had literally fell off the UPS truck and was dragged on floor, upon opening the beat up box found 1 dent. Panels tested working but will be returning again since I’m paying for new panels so I expect new no dents. To be fair, both panels sets tested working so gets 3 stars.Ordered 3rd set, giving it a final chance. Will be updating review.Update= 3rd order arrived with a piece of box corner ripped, surprisingly this time no dents or damage to panels, tested good solar performance. I’m now satisfied with this purchase, just wish it didn’t take 3 tries. 1st and 2nd order return/refund no issues. Conclusion:Good Solar performance and value, poor packaging. Seller should use better stronger packaging, sides of box lacks any substantial protection. The aluminum frame is thin, semi flexible, good for saving weight but not real protection, combined with weak packaging resulting easy dents.09/02/2024 Update - Still good solar performance.

Great value when on sale.
I got a pair these on sale last year for $127 after tax. They work well and the pair puts out about 160w in good sunlight, as read on my power stations display. This is as good as can be expected from such panels. I just built a pvc frame/stand for them for an additional $22, so now I have 200w (spec) of portable solar panels for $150. This is far cheaper than purchasing a portable panel set from any of the manufacturers.

Do not buy! Fire hazard! Burned my boat cushions!
I was excited to get these, I have used flexible solar panels for years on my sailboat. Some of my older panels got a bit worn out after 6 years so I decided to get some.new ones. Sometimes I lay the panels on my cushions while charging my 12 V house battery. This was the first time I set them out. Sunny day. I tried pulling them off the cushions and they had melted the vinyl and burned it. Do you know at what temperature vinyl burns? Melting is 212 F, burn is 736 F. So the little section on the panels (both panels did it) must have heated up to a temperature between 212 F and 736 F. That is a fire hazard and a design flaw. My cushions are $500 each to replace. I will refer their product to the authorities. It should be recalled as I was using it properly (both panels in series charging a 12 V lead acid battery with a tried and true mppt solar charge controller.
