Dim red dot... But holds zero
When I bought this red dot I thought it would be just a cheaper version of the exact same Red Dot for $7 cheaper. It is not exactly the same but very close. On its highest setting number five it is just bright enough to see the Red Dot in full sunlight. In shade it's fine. With the more expensive Red Dot sight that looks just like it you get seven levels of brightness and it is much easier to see in full sunlight. This definitely holds its zero and performs as expected, I am using it on a slingshot rifle that has zero G-Force kick so take that into mind with my experience. It mounts perfectly and has a solid feel to the construction.I have been using this for over a month now everyday and it is a solid red dot, but if you have an extra 7 to 10 dollars I would suggest the one that's a little more expensive. This red dot will be set up for my practice ammunition and the more expensive Red Dot will be used for my hunting setup.

Good starter red dot
I originally bought this to use on a canted rail. Unfortunately it's a bit too big for that to be practical. This is meant to be used as a primary optic. As a primary optic it works as expected. I used it on my AR-15 and had great results. it was pretty accurate within 200 yards. I noticed a little fuzz in the sight picture if you stare at the reticle itself but it goes away when starring past it to your target. So far it has stayed on target without drifting. The materials seem to be made high quality and the brightness adjustment is good in day and night shooting. At max brightness the reticle has a pretty decent doubling effect so I wouldn't recommend running it that high. As a starter sight I would highly recommend this product. Hope this review helps!

Decent red dot
Had an extra blaster that needed an optic and this was my solution:Pros:- seems to be built to last, not cheap plastic- held a decent zero for 50 rounds of 556- nice to be able to select different reticleCons:- edge of the glass is a bit fuzzy- it’s bulkyOverall this is a decent option for an extra blaster or a .22. I would be hesitant to put it on anything larger.

Perfect, except for the batteries
There is a lot to like about this red dot.1. The surface area of the lens is huge which makes for quicker target/sight acquisition.2. 1-button simplicity in terms of turning on/off and brightness level3. Rugged outer body should protect the innards. The "Not like"1. This is the only optic i've seen using litell baby LR44 batteries.... which I don't generally keep in my range bag or go bag. It's nice they've included 2 3-packs, but I am a little disappointed.2. I can see the wires and circuitry between the mount and the sight. Which means it will get wet, and it will fail.Add a bottom plate to the sight so water doesn't' get in, and change to a more common, easier to insert battery and I'd give it 5 stars.

You always want a bigger screen
I'm not sure if that's what they call it, but I always want a bigger screen to find your dot faster. I wish that there was less bulky metal around it, but alas, it is what it is. This particular design reminds be of a few others. Not super impressive and again, bulky. It works fine. I wish it was solar powered or rechargeable without batteries. But you can't have it all for this price. Overall, it's good for a beginner use. Not sure how much it would handle large caliber concussions.

Appears to be really well built
I like the different selections of reticlesI’m a little color blind so it could be a little brighter for ME, but even though it’s not quite as bright as I would like it to be, I can still see the reticle in bright sunlight

Well built, but the internal hardware is just not worth it.
This is a Picatinny compatible reflex sight with a decent build quality and coated glass optic window. Initial impressions are quite nice- The material the sight is made of feels nice and solid. That's about as far as I can praise this unit however. The viewing window is quite large, but not "bulky" as others have stated. Compared to smaller RDS or reflex sights on the market, sure, but if you've used an EOTech holographic sight or similar device, those tend to be much bulkier overall. If this unit performed well, the shape and build quality would be acceptable, desirable even. Unfortunately it doesn't.The reticle brightness is dim, and the refresh rate of the emitter that makes the reticle laser is low, and unacceptable. The best way I can describe this is that when you are moving your firearm, BB gun or whatever else you may mount this on, the reticle will strobe in and out. The laser is rapidly turning on and off the image, rather than projecting it steadily. If you've used a monitor or computer with a low refresh rate, and understand how it compares to one with a high refresh rate, you will understand what I'm explaining. For fast target acquisition, and even regular use, this is a huge problem. There are microseconds where the reticle isn't visible.I did not even want to use this sight, not even for my BB guns- Therefore I have not wasted time testing the zero or how well it will hold. The refresh rate of the reticle was enough to make me not recommend this to anyone. Perhaps if you have a firearm or BB gun that does not move at all when you use it, ever, then you may consider this option. In reality, that is usually not the case. Not recommended for any serious enthusiast.
