Quality product. Arrived on time and seems to be very smooth. The reel has a great look and is just what I needed for my crappie rod. Great reel for the price.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a simple reel that will give my sonn the ability to transition to a spinning reel with more ease and this is perfect. My son was having trouble casting with a spinning reel and the previous closed ones I bought were all poor quality. This one blows then out of the water. Best bang for your bucks, the smoothness, performance and durability all surpass my expectation.

I bought this as a replacement trigger reel. I'm using it mated to a lightweight rod and it works great. Casts well with minimal weight. Retrieves well on small panfish, I haven't hooked anything large yet so can't comment on durability. Very pleased with purchase.

Love the smoothness in of the trigger release. Installed the reel today and went fishing. Caught 2 fish. Definitely has sturdy quality construction.

yes I owned another brand 10 years back, only lasted couple trips- and shelled out- souring me on the typebut decide to give the breed a second chancedoes cast well with little effort to 50 feet-4 lb is not for the timid as it breaks easy but better the string than the reel-for now it is a fun rig for blue gill-- consider catch & release

You get what you pay for in this reel - enough said.
