Purchased this car tracker after I decided to rent my car on Turo with the fear that someone might steal my car. I searched multiple devices on Amazon and google and everything was minimum $10 per month minimum. I came across this device which is $5.99 (or $60 a year) subscription and it also has the benefit where you can plug it in so it never loses power. Pros: 1. Never have to recharge it or keep track of the battery life as it always draws it from the car. 2. Very easy plug and play 3. Cheapest subscription fee I could find. 4. It creates a map of where the car has gone plus tracks speed of the car, notifies if when the car moves and the app is really easy to use. 5. Also worked with my Toyota Prius as I was worried since the fine print says it may not work with hybrid vehicles. Cons: 1. As all OBD devices, it can technically be removed by the renter/driver at any time. (I tapped my down so it's hard to remove). Overall, I'm very happy with this product. The initial purchase fee for the item is higher than other devices but the yearly subscription fee by far saves you the most compared to everything else. This item was exactly what I was looking for and I'm very happy.

I purchased a Saftag Plug because of the great reviews and very reasonable month fee. The tracker was very easy to install, setup and activate my account in a short time. The tracker also has neat options to customize map settings, geofence distance and more. The tracker has worked exceptionally well and only had a very minor issue with battery level reading. I reached out to tech support and not only did they respond quickly, but were very professional, friendly and wanted to help me correct the issue. It was fixed quickly and I really appreciated the outstanding customer service from Safetag. I recently purchased a 2nd Safetag Plug for my other vehicle and I'd definitely recommend this product. 5 Stars!

One of the best applications I have treated for my fleet of vans, super economical and very easy to use, I recommend it for those who have several vehicles that carry valuable tools: you can tracker very well where it is, even in places where there is almost no Internet.

Did have another device before this, liked the way it worked better but it would go out for days. This works so much better.

This device is a problem solver: In minutes the unit is installed in a vehicle and the App downloaded for location viewing (on my phone and my computer). This facilitates guiding a lost family member or friend to their intended destination; or producing a record of travel for reimbursement purposes from an employer. The 30-second cycle updates minimize data transfer loads, with the App producing logical road progress 'painting'. The App allows a review of Tracking history, so it is easy to check on routes travelled after-the-fact. The peace of mind bonus is very significant.

I usually don't do product reviews but I know this tracker deserved one. If by any chance you're looking at this review to help you in deciding whether or not to buy this product? Go for it!!! Trust me you'll be satisfied with your purchase. The tracker works very well and it's location status is within about 20 to 30 feet of it's actual location, which is pretty accurate. It has many features that you can customize to your preference. The monthly fee for it's service is under 7 bucks for it's basic plan per month which is enough for accurate tracking. The only difference in the plans is that the update on location is faster on the higher plans. Other than that all plans work the same and have all the same features, plus to buy the actual tracker is cheap. Did i mention there's absolutely no contract, pay when you need it, disconnect when you don't. Trust me, get it. I wasn't paid or rewarded for this review. I just really like the tracker and believe you will too. Please forgive any typos...

Didn't work after 20 miles, no tracking at all just sat stuck in same spot. Now using a free tracking app and it works perfect! Save your money not a good product

This product was excellent. I found it to be very accurate and gave great location info. It is especially useful for anyone with an elderly parent with memory issues. The yearly subscription rates are reasonable for peace of mind. The website and app are very easy to setup and use and the customer service team are excellent if you have any queries or issues.

I've been more than happy with this product and service, it just ticks all the checkboxes: affordable, easy to instal, simple to use, fits for both home or business use cases. No complains so far, keep up the good work!

great price, works really well, never any problems

I got this for my son on passing his driving test I had myself worried about him and where he was in the initial days weeks following his test. This simple little device has set my.mind fully at ease. It tracks every stop, every journey, distances, speed etc. It motofys you if he goes outside his boundary, he isn't even aware there is one in the car. The monthly subscription of £4.99 a month is so worth it. Would highly recommend to all parents of kids who are now mobile. 5* plus rating for total peace of mind

I was surprised by the accuracy of this device and even more so with the excellent customer services when I contacted them about settings. They responded within a couple of hours with a full response. It is very easy to install. Literally plug and play. The Company are improving their app and website in a few months and responded positively to my suggestions. It works on both mobile and website for a tablet or laptop. It provides a position and speed reading every 30 seconds. You require a subscription to get the tracker to work up front but with a seven day free trial. As you can tell I was impressed. The only negative point I can think of is that the operating instructions need to be more comprehensive as there are settings and options on it you need to know.
