Garage Goals Unlocked: Armorpoxy for the Win!
The media could not be loaded. After binge-watching a ton of epoxy floor makeover videos, I decided it was time to give our garage a serious glow-up—and Armorpoxy seemed like the perfect choice for the job. We’re in the middle of a full garage remodel, and this floor was the foundation (literally) of the entire vibe.Between work and life, the project took a couple of weeks to complete, but the results were worth every bit of effort. I used two kits for my standard two-car garage, and that ended up being the sweet spot to get full coverage and the finish I wanted. The product itself was solid—good consistency, easy to apply if you follow the steps, and the final look? Sleek, clean, and seriously elevated. The space already feels brand new, and I can’t stop admiring the shine and texture.I’ll be back in a year to post a follow-up and see how it’s held up over time, but for now—this kit definitely delivered. If you’re on the fence about it, go for it. Great product, great results. Brand new floor, brand new vibes.

fantastic product
Our garage remodel turned out great. The instruction are clear and direct removing any guesswork. The kit came with almost everything we needed.Square footage is true to size quoted. We heavily covered 800 sq ft with a 900 sq ft kit and had a small amount of product remaining. It went down easily, looks professionally done at a fraction of the cost. I’m satisfied and glad we went with this option

Excellent product- user friendly
This product was exceptional, from the instructions to the application. Armorpoxy has made it so the lay person can complete this job such that it appears to have been done by a professional.I love the color, the kit comes with all necessary tools, and the customer service was extremely responsive when asking questions on application in borderline too low of a temp to apply.Things I’d advise others in:Before applying the flakes, divide the large bag included into sections equally for however many sections you will flake. I started to run out of flakes by my 4th section leaving some inconsistencies in distribution.I’m extremely pleased with the product and would use armorpoxy for any future projects.

Easy installation, tough to maintain original appearance.
I like it when it's new, but hard to clean to original quality, I'd say. Plenty for a 3 car garage! The tires like to turn spots yellow and not easy to remove it.

***DO NOT BUY!!!! STICK WITH RUST-OLEUM!!!*****
I highly recommend buying double of what you actually need and doing a 2nd coat before putting the flake. I prepped my concrete (it was brand new so I know there were no previous contaminants), but there are several areas that visually are not to my liking. In the past I have done my garages with a different brand and have always done two or more coats. I read the reviews on this product and decided to try just one coat. I should have gone with my gut. Lucky for me the places that I have issues with I plan to put pallet racks over so you should not see it after I get might be longings moved into the garage.Prep and application we're both very easy, the kit comes with everything you need. And the epoxy was really easy to work with. I live in a very humid climate and the clear coat was applied 5 days ago, and is still a bit tacky. But it looks like it's going to be a nice four when everything is moved in.***UPDATE***I haven't even parked on the floor yet, I've only been walking and remodeling the room and it's already coming up. I did all the prep work and, it was new concrete so I know that's not the issue. But don't waste your money, buy the Rust-Oleum brand. I used it in my garage at my old house and it held up great for 6 years. I just wanted to try something new and I wish I hadn't.***Another update***Finally moved into my new house and the first time I blow my garage out with a leaf blower it peels up! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! STICK WITH RUST-OLEUM ITS BETTER

Wow - I am pleasently surprised
1 year update - This survived perfect over winter in a heated garage. The garage is set to 45, so it is on the cold side. There was absolutely no cracking or flaking. This has held up and still looks like new. One thing to be careful on: avoid putting tires on relatively fresh epoxy or it might stain.----original----I debated epoxying the ~40 year old garage for a long time. I was originally going to go with RustOleum, but I am incredibly happy I found this product. It includes nearly everything to complete the job like a pro. I used 3x 600sqft kits in an ~1400sq ft garage. The concrete was very old and worn, so I used more material than needed to help hide spalling/etc.Prep is the most important part. Sweep, hose out, de-grease, acid etch. After the acid etch you will need to extremely thoroughly wash the surface off - if you can't hose the area out, you will want to use a wet/dry vacuum and loads of water. Watch the manufacturers videos to better understand how to apply this. I highly recommend the squeegee to spread the product quickly and then go back and back-roll with the roller. Timing wise, I applied this when it was over 90 outside. I applied roughly 1 gallons at time leaving a 'wet edge'. Realistically, I had plenty of time once the product was down to walk on the surface and apply flakes. A tip for the flakes: practice on a tarp and throw the flakes into the air. Also don't ever grab a full handful.Because we needed the storage, this was applied to one half the garage and then the other. If you need to do the same, don't apply flakes to the edge, don't clear coat the edge, sand the edge prior to the next coat if more than a few days since it was applied. There is more than enough clear coat for multiple coats. If desired, you can pick up more anti-slip additive to add to it (which I did). Once applied, the floor feels like sandpaper. That makes me feel much better about applying this to stairs as well.Overall I am thrilled with the result. The end result look amazing and will hopefully last a long long time. I will update if I run into any problems.
