Nice snug fit
Exactly what I needed. Fits perfectly in my gimbal mounts, not loose at all. Holes in the plate fit my downrigger mounts just fine. Material seems to be powder coated aluminum, very study and lighy.

Great Gimbal for Cannon Uni-Troll 10STX Downrigger
Purchased these to install in my 30 degree x 9" deep flush mounted rod holders in my boat. I mounted the Cannon Uni-Troll 10STX downriggers to them and placed them in the rod holders. They do have a little bit of slop in the rod holder, but once they are setup and running they are pretty stable. By mounting them to the downrigger, I am able to remove the downrigger when not in use and store in or keep from them getting stolen. I am satisfied with them and would recommend them to some one with a similar downrigger.

Good option instead of drilling holes
Worked well needed a little bit of adjustment but negated the need to pit holes in the deck of the boat
