easy enough build, some issues with alignment on screw holes, i just threw some extra screws i had in there, fit nice and snug since its a corner piece, not too heavy but seems sturdy. looks good minus the fact i switched up some parts bc there was barely any stickers, and VAUGE instructions. however its holding all my stuff and im ready to add more.

It was packed very well in the box. I put this together alone, and don't have a ton of furniture assembly experience. The instructions suggest two people, I also suggest multiple people as it took me a few hours. Looks great and is nice and sturdy.

We really like this shelf over all, didn't take too long to put together. The instructions were not the greatest, no words, only pictures which is fine but the pictures didn't always clarify the next steps the best. But we figured it out in the end. I used our impact driver and it made it alot faster. They do include a screw driver but of course it was not very good so use your own tools. It fits in our space nicely, the measurements were all correct. It is very sturdy and holds alot. It came with wall anchors too. We have a toddler, so we went ahead and anchored it to the wall. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Simple and sturdy corner book shelf.

I’m on the fence on the rating. I feel like a 3.5 would be where I’d rate it. Definitely a long project to put it together and my husband worked construction for decades! He’s very handy. This assembly was a nightmare. The directions are very unclear. On the positive side, it does seem study. I have not moved items on to it yet so an update on that coming. It does look nice. The price was a good deal.

This bookshelf took 2+ hours to assemble but it was totally worth it. The assembly instructions are unclear and I think it helps to look at videos on similar shelfs to complete assembly. The finished product is great as the shelves are wide and the L-shape makes it fit well in the corner. So it saves space and provides a lot of shelf room for storage- win win! I added a picture of the finished product so judge for yourself! Worth the money and the effort.

I purchased this item even with the number of reviews indicating a difficult assembly with poor instructions. What sold me were the reviews noting how sturdy/solid it was once set up. I wanted to add a review here because I found the directions for assembly pretty straight forward. If you are trying to rush the assembly and only give the instructions partial attention, you will struggle. If you lay out the pieces and study the illustrations/instructions, you will be fine. You just have to think and match the illustration. Not every piece is labeled, but it's easy to figure out if you take the time at the beginning. I put it together, alone, in one session, total time about 1.5 hours of not rushing.

First I'll say this shelf is VERY sturdy and very pretty once you get it together. However, it has literally the worst assembly constructions I have ever seen in my life. You absolutely need two people and at least one of you needs to have good problem-solving skills because the instructions are microscopically tiny. We took a photo on our phone and blew them up. At best the instructions are a loose guide to get you by. This shelf should have taken us one hour to assemble with good instructions. Instead it took us nearly 3. I'd buy it again because it is very nice once it's finished, but what a nightmare putting it together.

Overall I really like this bookcase. I haven’t put things on it yet, or moved it to where it will stay, but it looks nice (got the black color). One seemingly glaring design flaw is that one of the sides shows the piece with more screws than it really needs to, but I’ll attribute that to production cost. Assembly wasn’t too bad like I thought it would be with other reviews. It took me about 2.5 hours by myself, and with low blood sugar. So it’s definitely doable. It is pretty heavy, so be careful there. I love how tall it is, especially with how tall other bookcases are. It seemed like it wasn’t very sturdy at first, but it was perfectly fine after the using the adjustable feet. I think it’ll be great for putting my books on and other knickknacks. Overall I think it’ll be a great bookcase.
