Recently expanded the network on a farm to reach all outbuildings and create a wifi/cctv network where there is no phone signal. Excellent devices. The first two purchased have been in place for 18 months wto tith no need to reset and have braved snow and the longest hot summer. Very happy with TP-Link range and would recommend the EAP / CPE range to small business, mid size offices and cafes without hesitation. Awesome value.

it works, but has to be installed outside, even a single layer of glass deteriorates the signal by 60% or more, rain adds even more of attenuation, drops the signal at random for a split second

Easy to setup- synced up with another unit with no hassle. Highly recommend it.

The product description contains the words "limited lifetime warranty" - as a Pharos business product it should have a lifetime warranty, but neither Amazon or TP-Link will honor it, saying that the warranty is 3 years. Presumably the lifetime they have in mind is that of a guinea pig. I could say a lot of nice things about how flexible and configurable these units can be when they work, but that is totally eclipsed by the excremental after sales support by both parties when they stop working. DO NOT BUY!

Had a bit of a problem with install - had some amazing tech support from a Xandrex who patiently went through each possible problem until we identified it as being a cable rather than the unit itself - a very patient support colleague who with a lot of time and effort helped me identify the issue. The product itself is top quality - and is my third set. Definitely great for outdoor wireless connections !

After much frustration I finally did the obvious and checked for firmware updates : which immediately solved the issue of this being unable to connect to my Deco mesh. Now that's done it seems pretty solid, although bandwidth drop through a single unit is quite significant. Still runs the CCTV camera I have installed on my garage about 150M from the house perfectly though. I might buy another to run as a point to point pair and see if that improves things, but given the cost of the units it's a fair bit to throw at a punt that may or may not work. Originally bought to get high speed internet to the summerhouse, but the bandwidth drop was just too much hence moving it to the garage.

This CPE is great. I've used this in a setup for a family member to get internet out to their gazebo that is about 150ft from their house. Streaming video for watching NFL games, MLB games, movies etc works great without issue. It's an awesome setup! With that, I decided to get one myself to have internet in my detached shop. It's only about 50 feet from my house. I have this device configured as a client to my home wireless network and then running to a small WIFI router in my shop that is in AP mode. Standing in the same room about 20 feet from my home WIFI router it was getting about 75mbps download (2.4ghz band) and with my setup to my shop I get about 60mbps in my shop. So it's a solid connection. Here's the thing that some people MAY be overlooking if they are running a similar setup. I have a 1gbps internet connection. That's NOT the speed I can expect over wireless. If I were to use the 5ghz band I can get decent throughput but I'd have to be pretty close to the home router. Anyway, this CPE says 300mbps throughput in the 2.4 ghz band. IF you were to get that throughput that is ONLY to the CPE, NOT to anything that is using it to access the internet. The catch (for me) was the ethernet port. It's a 10/100mbps so that's where the bottleneck is in my scenario. The fastest I could hope to get is 100mbps. For me, there's nothing wrong with that and it will work great. I'm sure for a lot of people's needs this will work great. I just wanted to put it out there in case people had certain expectations. If ou really need the greater speeds, get the TP-Link CPE710 as it has the 10/100/1000mbps ethernet connection and the ethernet interface won't be the bottleneck any longer. Bottom line: Good, reliable, quality product. 100% recommend!

No funciono. Intente múltiples configuraciones y no repetía el Internet, hable con el soporte técnico e intento configurarlo con una conexión remota y no pudo.
