A thought provoking read
I have always been interested in whether there is an afterlife, so for me this was an extremely interesting book. It was recommended by my course tutor in holistic healing and I am so glad I bought the book. Well written I couldn’t stop reading it and will definitely read it again in the future.

A book that is too easy to dismiss
This is one of those books that is even too easy to dismiss as "made up". Yet, the credentials of the author speak for themselves. If you are interested in these sort of topics - albeit being dubious, like me - this is a book that you <can> read. And there are many others written by authors (physicians and scientists, mainly) which are beyond suspicion. I also believe it is too easy a position to say "that's all bonkers and the author must be a nutter". Putting our own believes in doubt is a hard and painful process. However: how else are we going to grow? So, although the read is probably not for everybody, I strongly recommend it because it will make you think and ask questions.I found the read easy, gripping and well representative of what a man of science must go through when confronting such an extraordinary experience. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars, is because I believe that the author should have add a chapter explaining how the academic world has received this story. Indeed there are a few lines about it, yet I believe that a more detailed account would behelpful. Reading how others, especially in the scientific world, have reacted and why they have accepted it or not, may help readers to make sense of their doubts and questions,

Keep an open mind and see the bigger picture!
Some reviews go into great detail on their criticism about the lack of scientific method, but in my opinion, they are completely missing the point. What is important about this book is the message given to him throughout the sessions with Catherine. Whether there is proper scientific scrutiny, that doesn’t really matter—if you want that, there’s also plenty of academic papers online where you can read on the topic.Bear in mind that in the time this book was written, there was no Google to easily retrieve any validation. From my perspective, it’d have taken too much pointless effort and detours in the book, when ultimately what matters is to let people know that we are one with the spirit. We’re here to gain experience in a human life, nothing is right or wrong, it’s all about learning and growing. So, as a doctoral student myself, I can only say that you leave aside the cultural obsession with science and read this book with an open mind, and an intention to learn.Pd: in reply to another review, there is a Hampstead Farm in South Wales. Look it up

A Captivating Blend of Psychology and Spirituality
"Many Lives, Many Masters" is a fascinating exploration of past lives and healing, as told by a prominent psychiatrist. The true story of the author’s journey with a patient who regresses into her past lives is both compelling and thought-provoking. The insights gained not only help the patient heal but also profoundly impact the author’s understanding of life and existence. The narrative is engaging, blending psychology with spirituality in a way that invites readers to reflect on their own journeys. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the intersections of mind, body, and spirit!

Incredibly well written. Clear and concise. Fully captures the essence of the messages conveyed. Worth reading regardless of current beliefs or experience with past-life or higher self teachings, as it is not teaching but a pure recounting of a pers

More people should read it
Read it with doubt and it is just another book. Read it with faith and it is game-changing. It gives you a fresh pair of lens to look at life with! When I read it, I particularly enjoyed the time between lives, life reflection parts because they made it amply clear that we have this golden opportunity available right now to do our own reviews. It cemented my learning on how each challenge is a lesson to learn!
