Give it time. IT WORKS!!
I call this stuff the COLONY KILLER. This product WORKS!! But you need to be patient. It takes a few days for the ants to take it back to their colony and kill off ever last ant.I live down in Texas and have used this on:- Carpenter Ants- Odorus Ants (They smell so bad)- Pharaoh Ants- Ghost AntsEvery time I've used it, it takes about five days before the ants are 100% gone. I recommend this to everyone I know.

It works!!!
Our bedroom and bathroom were overrun with carpenter ants. Pest control came and provided very brief relief. I applied this gel and within three days we were ant-free. Keeping some on hand for the usual Spring incursions.

Squashed box
The product came quickly and is easy to use. The instructions could be a little clearer or there could be a video posted on Youtube to make how to use it crystal clear. The box it came in was squashed but the tubes inside were fine. However, I had to tape the box together at the bottom to be able to use it to hold the unused tubes.

Not an instant kill but with continuous use will kill all Carpenter Ants.
I had a very large carpenter ant infestation in two of my mature oak trees, it wasn't until I lost a very large branch of the tree that I saw the large black carpenter ants in the fallen part of the tree. After some research I discovered that these ants are very active at night. Armed with a flashlight I went out to my trees around midnight and was shocked at the activity I saw, these ants had several satellite colonies around the base of the trees and were running a line up and down the trunks, thousands of ants on both trees running from top to bottom my trees were infested and these ants have obviously been there for a very long time. My knowledge of ants is that they will either eat sugar or protein so I ordered both types of bait, Max Force Gel was my sugar bait and Advance Granular was my protein bait. In late August of 2019 I started my attack, I placed a small amount of Advanced Granular out and saw that the ants ran to it almost instantly and carried it away, subsequent applications a few days apart did not have the same effect as the first application the ants would almost ignore it but by morning I would notice some bait taken. Thinking that the ants were suspicious of the granules or just changed their taste to sugar I began placing small dabs of Fleet near their lair's at the base of the trees and beside their travel lanes on the trunk of the trees. After about two weeks I completely knocked out the ants in the first tree. Gone no trace at all. The second tree with the larger infestation was now a noticeably smaller colony size but still very active. Not wanting the ants to reject the bait I applied it in the same areas about one every week and a half, spot checks every week or so showed the ant activity getting smaller and smaller, instead of thousands of ants running up and down the tree I would see a handful here and there. By the end of October 2019 the ant colony in the second tree had been eradicated, I can not find one single ant. If you have a carpenter ant infestation this will knock them out, as long as they are feeding on sugar. It's not a one and done application, be persistent and apply the bait near but not on their lanes of travel. This is a slow acting bait and eventually the colony will be eradicated. I will also note that the bait may sometimes come out of the tube a bit liquidy this isn't an issue the ants don't care, remember you only need to place pea sized drops in a few various places where they roam. Out of the four applicators provided in the box it took 2 1/2 of them and 2 months to wipe out all of the ants. If this review was helpful to you please click that it was. Good luck

frustrating
found ants begin to enjoy the gel and they are not dying. but a very little bit more effective than RAID and Terro. those two are just ridiculous

Took a little longer than advertised but seems to have killed a sugar ant colony
I had some sugar ants coming through an outlet cover in the kitchen. I took off the cover and put a few small blobs of this stuff into the bottom of the outlet box and sealed it back up. The ants kept showing up (possibly more, since they were attracted to the poison) for 3-4 days but on about day 5 I no longer see any ants. I think the colony has been dealt with at this point. Hopefully, any new colonies that might show up in our house will suffer the same fate.
