New Laptop Battery for Dell Latitude E6400 E6410 E6500 E6510 Precision M2400 M4400 M4500 M6500

Works great. Holds a charge well and functions perfectly. Exact fit. Relatively easy installation although reattaching connectors is a little tricky.

I have an ancient Dell E6400 laptop that is only used to maintain my financial records. The battery died several years ago and I have only been using it while plugged in. Came upon this replacement battery and decided to give it a try given its very reasonable price (I could not even find an original Dell replacement on the Dell website as this is such an old model). This replacement battery was truly a “drop in” replacement (there are two “clips” that release/hold the battery in place without the need to unscrew anything and so replacement took perhaps 2 seconds to complete). Although not shown in the product photo page, the base of the battery also has a button and led charge indicator lights just like the OEM Dell battery. After following the provided instructions to drain the battery to 2% upon its first use prior to charging it, the battery seems to be holding its charge well. Using a 90W Dell compatible charger (19.5V output), the battery charged quickly from 2% to 90% in under 2 hours. As this laptop is truly ancient in computer years, I was able to get about 2 1/2 - 3 hours of use out of a fully charged battery, which was comparable to my original Dell battery when it was new IIRC. The true test will be whether this continues to hold a charge after repeated cycling. For now, 5 stars.

I got this for my old Dell latitude e6400, so I can preserve this very old PC. It was very easy to install and use. I'll be using Linux on it with a SSD. So far so good. It feels like a new PC, especially with the SSD. I recommend this battery for older Dell models that support it as I've been using it for a few months now and I have no issues with it. The battery life lasts about two hours, but I've only do light drawing on it and writing mostly, so y'alls mileage may vary. Hopefully, this battery lasts awhile, but I haven't had to buy a battery too often so that's good. I've had pretty good experiences with Dell, great brand. Highly recommended, as I had this laptop for 12 years, and still works!💗

Easy to install, tools included.

Arrived with 60% charge and laptop recognized it right away. Charged to 100% within an hour and was able to finally get my laptop away from the cable to work around the shop like it used to. Excellent product at the perfect price.

Perfect fit in a Dell 7500 2 in 1. The included screwdriver and plastic tab to pop the case open was a nice touch. The tiny connector needs to be carefully removed from the original battery and reattached to the replacement, needs good eyesight and dexterity. Takes about 10 minutes total with the tools provided. Vacuum the fan if needed. Was about 50% charged on arrival.

I purchased this battery for my Dell E6410 on Mar. 22, 2025. Initially the battery worked fine, but on April 23 the battery began not charging fully, and would discharge to <30% in 15 minutes, eventually leading to the computer shutting down without notice. I came looking to return the battery for replacement only to find that the seller's return window had closed on April 20, and no replacement or refund was available. I will never buy from this seller again.

The battery works perfectly. It’s in so much better health and function than my old one. I’m so glad I found exactly the right one.
