Great loose woven texture for hand stitching
This loose-woven fabric arrived cut in accurate 12x12 squares that were aligned with the grain pretty well. I used it for a slow stitching class with my students and they stitched onto it with a cotton muslin foundation behind it. The very loose weave was prone to fraying but on the plus side the threads that frayed off were used for basting the backing on so no waste there! Patterns were excellent and this was a very good match for my needs. Note that the fabric is made in China, not India, so if this is an issue, you should be aware. I did not pre-wash as I was concerned about shrinkage and fraying.

Vibrant
These pieces are beautifully colorful and vibrant. I love the patterns. However, the quality of the fabric itself is lacking.

meh
the patterns you get are pretty well depicted in the picture shown. they are a loose weave linen that the pattern is printed on. There is no switch and bait here; you get what you see. once I got it i realized that I just really didn't like most of the patterns or the color mix. I used them in a large Kawandi quilt I made and used most of them as the middle layer that was covered by other fabric. So they did work well in a Kawandi because it's easy to hand sew and I cut some into smaller pieces that reduced the chaos of pattern .

Not good
Patterns were beautiful. A little darker than I expected but the weave was really too loose when I cut it if frayed a lot.
