Works well with a nice sharp blade to smoothly cut pills, minimizing irregular shaped cuts and loss of portions because of breakage. It has a triangular "chute" into which you put the tablet that allows the pill to slide right into place in the tightest position, lined up for the cut. Simply put the pill in, gently close, and it's cleanly cut in half. You can use it for one or let the halves fall into the reservoir that holds them until you've cut the quantity you need, then pour out and put in your bottle or pill organizer. Small or large hands work the same with this and you don't need any kind of hand strength to do it. Finally, the price is right. This was the lowest priced one I found and it works just fine, even for arthritic hands.

Works great to cut my large & small pills at a good price. It has a little catch area that can be used to store the pill pieces after cutting because it closes down and creates a sealed environment (but easy to open). If you want a basic pill cutter at a fair price, this is a good option.

This is an awesome pill cutter. I have tiny pills and it cuts them perfectly and it has a little storage compartment. And it has a travel case.

Been looking for a good pill cutter. This pill cutter is so easy and perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who needs it. It’s the best!

For such a simple item, it has been so difficult finding one that will cut one of my prescription pills that is tiny, but very hard, in half. Finally, this one did the trick and both halves were actually even. Hopefully the blade holds up well, but even if it's only a couple of months, with this price, it is totally worth it.

This works okay, we'll keep it as a backup. The little cleaning brush and well-made keychain style pill holder are both useful adds. But this cutter does not cut as easily, sharply or consistently as the cheaper, Amazon-recommended pill cutter we had before. I just ordered another of those, they're smaller and look less impressive but they cut the small pills we were cutting (uncoated prednisone for our dog) much better than this one did. That's just our experience with these pills, YMMV of course.

Works so much better than a knife and the last pill cutter that I had. It's easy to use, and I can quickly cut my pills, and it's almost always half and half. On occasion I've had a couple not be completely in half more of a 60/40 cut, but that was probably me being in a rush.
