TilleyAdult Unisex Natural Cotton Duck Bucket Hat

This is my 2nd Tilley. My wife has appropriated the first one and loves it. This style gives me a bit better protection from the sun. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.

i have three tilley hats two are size 7 3/8" too tight. 7 1/2" is perfect.

This is one of the old Tilley’s with the exact sizing and quality.

Never had a so called "Bucket Hat" but I have other Tilley hats and love the quality and design. The T1 is much more than a bucket hat and I like it so much I look forward to going outside just to put it on. I did go up one size as recommended by others and glad I did, just hoping there is no shrinkage when it gets washed. It just feels so natural on my head and provides great sun protection for the ears, upper neck and face. I originally order the Natural color which was nice but just not for me, however the Green is perfect. I've already wore it in the rain and kept my head dry and once back inside the house the hat dried without any water marks or stains. Yes, it does cost more than other imported products but attention to detail that went in to making this hat is worth the extra cost. Highly recommend.

This hat is perfect for a fly fishing hat, looking forward to using this hat as my primary hiking , fishing hat, have not used the hat during the summer so I’m hesitant to comment on it’s use in warmer weather. The construction is very good and I have no doubt the hat will last for many years, shipping and packaging were very good.

Not a lightweight hat for super hot temperatures as it is heavy and well made. For me it ran small and I had to size up 2 sizes. I love it.

Tilley hats are always beautifully made and stand up to wear and tear- this one is no different. It made a great first impression.However, either the one that I recieved was mis-labelled or the sizing was off. I carefully measured my head as per Tilley's instructions and chose the correct size from the sizing chart on their website. It was so tight, I couldn't really get it on at all.This is very different from my experience with my old broader-brimmed hemp-based Tilley hat from mumble years ago, which actually came up a little little big, but which I got used to as it allowed a more comfortable fit in the heat. Coming up small is really not what you want in a sun hat, at all.Sadly, I was unable to replace it with one a couple of sizes up as they were very out of stock, so I returned this one. This item is too expensive to keep if it's not right and it caught me off-guard.I'd still recommend it if you found one to fit, as the fit, finish and sturdiness are typically great. If you get one that's comfortable, it should last you years.

The hat looks and feels like something that will last for years, if not for life, (all depends how old you are, I guess). The bucket hat looks pretty cool too. I'm going to Australia, so I wanted a decent hat for the sun. Looks like I got it too.
