Very easy to use and fill. They are a decent value at the sale price (<$16 each) and will pay for themselves in a few uses. also nice not to have to throw away a tank in the landfill every time it is used.

Product is great and does what I need it to do. I got it on sale for an amazing price. It is bulkier than what I intended to use it for, but because of the price point it will work.

I wish these were available years ago. I’ve been refilling the disposable tanks for years but those sometimes leak after refilling. These are designed to be refilled and also designed to not be over filled. I weighed the tank at 1.4lbs then added 1 lb of propane from a bbq tank with a refill kit found here on Amazon. The trick here is to use a tiny Allen key to bleed off the air in the tank until a tiny bit of liquid propane sprays out then shut off the Allen set screw and remove the tank. The propane spraying out the bleeder means there is exactly 1 lb of propane after weighing was 2.4 lbs, easy and foolproof to fill the correct amount. Be sure to fill outside as propane smells and utilize a procedure of opening valves in the right order!

I bought a, (now discontinued), Blackstone outdoor pizza oven, but it uses those small, wasteful single-use camping tanks. It showed an adaptor hose made by the same maker as the pizza oven stating, 'Often bought together'. Sigh. It doesn't fit that model -they don't make a 20lb adaptor hose for it. I decided to buy this refillable 1lb tank that my oven uses.I was a bit nervous doing the process, but it was easy: attach a hose to the 20lb tank, flip the tank upside down, using a hose, attach to the 1lb tank, moving the small tank lower than the 20lb one, open the bleeder/vent fitting on this tank, open the big tank and the hose valve to the small one. In about 2 minutes, you'll see and hear propane spitting out the vent on the small one. That means it's full. Close the valves. Done!This tank arrived in good shape, had the small wrench taped to the tank, doesn't leak at all and well made.I've refilled this tank twice and I'm really glad I bought it.
