it is poor value for money. The cream has a great scent, lathers well and provides quite good glide with a DE razor. Best applied with a brush using a lathering bowl. My only real problem with this is the price. It's just too expensive for the size of pot. £17 for a 100 ml jar (which, by the way dropped to £14.37 within 24 hrs of my purchase) is pricey for this cream. You can, for example buy any Executive Shaving's own brand creams for £18.50 for 200 ml and they are every bit as good or better. I enjoy this cream and will use it till its gone but I just can't recommend it based on value for money.

Best shaving cream there is which is aromatic, but expensive

This little pot of shaving cream it rather surprisingly very nice! The smell is pleasing and of course best used with s shaving brush, overall gives x good shave so will definitely be coming back for more when runs out.

I do like a good shave, and anything that enhances the shaving experience is a bonus. I learned to shave with a brush and lather, and like the tactile nature of it.This lathers nicely enough, and I like the shave, and the smoothness, and the way it leaves the skin—not dried out.However, I'm not dying about the scent—nothing wrong—but it just doesn't do it for me. A little too ambiguous. Not masculine enough. As Mrs L said, on comparing it to another shaving product, "That other one would be worth a kiss!" Sadly not so much this one... thanks guys....

Won't use any other oriduct then this now! The smell is amazing and it lasts a very long time considering the size of the tub.

I found that this wasn't as good as I hoped. The scent though is amazing, like almonds or marzipan. Delectable.When using this I didn't feel like it lubricated the skin enough as my blade pulled across. So it wasn't the most comfortable shave. It wasnt noticeable when I pre shaved using an electrical razor then did a close shave using this and a razor. That did produce excellent results and didn't hurt.The cream itself was quite sticky and didn't really want to be washed off the blade without agitation and very hot water.

After trying this out for the first time all I can say is that I will never use anything else in future

If I'm honest I thought this might be a tad hyped up. But I shaved this morning with it and had a fantastic shave.It's not all perfect, but I'll get to those parts shortly.The cream itself smells great to me, but of course that's very much personal taste. My wife didn't like it - I would guess that it's more likely to appeal to me - makes sense.It was super, super easy to get a good lather and it didn't take much of the cream at all. I was surprised at how easy it was. Didn't really expect that.I also got a faster shave. I normally have to shave in 3 or 4 passes with my regular shave soap. With this - and I really did not expect this - I was nearly done after the first pass and a gentle second pass gave me a very close and comfortable shave.I think it's a great cream shave based on that, but I do think it's probably a bit expensive for what it is. That does depend on how long it lasts and I won't know that for some time, but I'd still guess that it's quite a bit more expensive than "normal" brands.The packaging and tin look great - very man friendly!I did notice when I first opened the tin that it wasn't full. That may be normal, I don't know. I haven't weighed the contents. But it "looks" like it hasn't been filled properly, so that gives a bit of a poor impression on first glance. You can see that in the photos.You can also see how great the packaging looks.Of course if it lasts for ages that may be fine, so we'll see.Overall, I think it's a fantastic shave cream, but I do have reservations about the normal price of it. I think for an everyday shave cream it's probably too costly. A little luxury is a nice thing, but perhaps this one is an indulgence rather than a necessity.
