Excellent Book written by Conspiragkr
I have Generation Oct because it is a great read, written by one of the convicted conspirators and very accurately describing the Oct epidemic, pill mills and drug diversion. The afterword was great, providing information on those involved during & after the conspiracy and imprisonment, as well as info on extraneous involved people. This is an important read for anyone looking for the effect the opiate epidemic has had, right from the start. Social Work & Public Health majors as well as criminal justice students would benefit greatly by the insight provided.

Pretty great.
This book was extremely exciting. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because the ending was super quick. Overall, a good read, especially because this is such a huge problem in our society.

Excellent look into the opioid epidemic
This book was an excellent first hand look into the opioid epidemic that has swept through our country. Being similar in age to the author I can say that generation oxy is the perfect name for this story. So many people from our generation have struggled with opioid addiction. Oxy was just becoming a big thing when I graduated high school and I've seen the damage it does to individuals, families and whole communities. This book is definitely worth reading.

Unbelievable story
The book itself was ok. It was impressive that he was able to do what he did. Good read though.

OXY Kingpins. Florida wrestlers turn Gangstas. 18 and life to go
In this day and age, with technology at a peak high (no pun intended), we have the ability to read from our Kindles. The internet, cell phones. It's nice to see that somethings are still being put into print. A book to hold in your hand. I could have read this on my Kindle, but chose the book to read. I'm glad I did. I came across this group of youths on Youtube. I saw a book was out from Douglas (Doug) Dodd. One of the 2 masterminds. Their story reminds me of an 80's movie starring Robert Downey Jr. "Less than Zero". Like Robert, Doug and Lance start out with nothing, achieve greatness. However in the end, they end up with Less Than Zero.Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. Two eighteen year old wrestlers, honor students (along with a few others) became Oxy Kingpins. They had money, women, fame and a buyers willing to pay top dollar for some pills. They had a well established operation. Until they got sloppy. To be more correct, Lance got sloppy. Doug wanted to keep things low key. Save some money and get out. However Lance got on a power trip. Took unnecessary risk. In the end, arrest warrants were issued on the hole gang and executed at the same time. Penalties were 0-15 years. Assets seized. Well, except for Doug's vehicle. He listened to his uncle. When he was arrested, the DEA officer said looks like I will have a new vehicle (SUV). Doug said, "I don't thing so. It has a lien on it, so you can take it." Smart, smart.Wanna know more? You gotta read this book. Amazing how they put the state of Florida to shame. Vitamin bottles, teddy bears, TSA, FED EX, UPS. Check these guys stories out.

high school me would have been all over Doug Dodd
I really really liked this book. I first read about “the kings of oxy” in a Rolling Stones article for a class in college and have been both baffled, yet fascinated since. It gives Wolf of Wall Street vibes. I recommend reading the article before delving into this book to see if it’s something that might pique your interest. I also had to stop and remind myself (often) that the story was depicted through the lens of Dodd prior to conviction and incarceration. I would encourage future readers to do the same, otherwise some of the experiences might be hard to read.

A fun Read !
This book takes you inside the life of a teenage king pin. It was along the lines of “The Wolf Of Wall Street.” It was a lot of fun to read and scary at the same time. I enjoyed it. It was easy to follow and I would recommend this to others.
