OR Taste Miracle Fruit, 60 Count

Sadly OR's customer service never called me back so I'm left writing this sad review, amazon did a great job. I called OR and told them that I received a batch that wasn't effective. I've had miracle tablets in the past for flavor tripping with friends and family so I knew they would work for my mom's Chemo mouth... Mom's lost a ton of weight over the last 2 months and she's now very weak. I think it's because she's not eating as much because she tells me food tastes gross. So I gave these to her with no change... I even tried them myself to make sure Mom wasn't kidding or that mom wasn't just not affected by it (happens im sure sometimes) and nope... I think they've lost their effectiveness. I returned them but emailed and called the OR company and got no answer several weeks ago... it's very sad. I even told them what batch number was bad. So again im sure this stuff does work but it does go bad way before their estimated expiration date. I ordered tablets from another supplier and manufacturer and those did work for mom so I know this product batch is faulty.

I have a 60 pill bottle of wasted money. I've tried miracle fruit a number of times, both raw and in pill form, and each time it has transformed sour, acid foods into the most unbelievably sweet thing you've ever tasted. Not these pills. I tried letting 10 pills (ten!) dissolve in my mouth and lemons were still as sour as ever. Save your money, buy a product that works.

Works ok you need to use a lot of them before they start to work. But it is a really cool experience and well worth the money for scientific experimenting. Or just having fun.

I purchased this to help out my mom. She suffers from metallic tastes in her mouth related to a medical treatments she is undergoing. Her symptoms are; she is unable to taste foods, regular foods she previously enjoyed have a metallic taste, regularly says that everything is tasting bad.I purchased her several options and OR Taste is by far her favorite. She can finally enjoy eating food again - so many meals she used to enjoy had become inedible, but not now. It has really improved her quality of life and overall health since she can now eat. I highly recommend this supplement.

These work fairly well but based on the (possibly hyped) results I've seen on Food Network, I was expecting something more dramatic. I've tried these with sour foods and it does make them less sour but didn't really transform them. I've tried them with spicy foods, and it turns down the spice and helps you taste more of the actual flavor of the peppers without being drowned out by the heat. However, I don't feel like "I must have more of these." Good product to experiment, just temper your expectations.

I've purchased a number of miracle fruit tablets and have had fresh berries, and they work really well. This product must have a very low berry content, since it has only a minimal effect, and it fades much faster than other products. These pills taste quite good and dissolve quickly and easily, but there's a reason these pills are a fraction of the price of other MF tablets. I recommend passing and trying another brand.
