This kit will buy your kids hours of fun and you hours of quiet. It comes with different colored sand in bags. You just plug in and it lights up. It comes with adorable bags with drawstring for storage. Lastly, it comes with tools to play with and a small broom to clean the sand up and put it back in the bag. So fun and a perfect gift for kids!

The sand has glitter in it and it doesn't come off of surfaces easily. The tools to make art it came with weren't really practical to make the image shown in the stock photo. It takes a lot of time and patience to do this kind of "art". My kiddo doesn't have that level of patience. Seems to cost too much for what you get. It's really just a plastic tote that lights up. I'd imagine this is truly for someone much much older. Otherwise, their just raking around sand that's lit up and to me for the cost not really worth it.

I love that it lights up underneath. Makes it a lot more fun. But the colors got mixed up quickly with kids playing. Creative fun though

This is a fun sand painting light box. I used it with my three year old grandchild and he had a lot of fun with it. He liked making dinosaur tracks in the sand with his toy dinosaurs. I love the different colored sand and how the sand comes off easily from clothes and hands. I hope it is easy to get more sand because it will need to be replaced with new sand sometime. The light works great, and the sand is very soft. I am happy with this fun little sand painting light box and would recommend it.

This is great for kids and adults, either alone or together. Such a great idea to play with creativity!

Got it for an 8-year old as a gift. She opened it up, spread some sand out and kind of moved things around but, guess it was not something that she really wanted. It does light up but, guess you really have to be artistic to enjoy this...otherwise, you are just smooshing sand around and after a while, that gets a bit boring. And then, while nice that they give you all the stuff, you have to clean it all up.

It's great when you first start to play with it but quickly gets really messy. The sands mix together easily. Not great for younger children."I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."
