Radio is pretty average, and not easy fro programming
ot the easiest instructions to follow, but it does what it is aupposed. Radio is pretty average, and not easy fro programming. Need to go through stations if you tune a few to get the one you want.

A good alarm clock!
This is a wonderful little radio alarm clock it takes me back to when I was at school and having one that was quite similar to this that would wake me up with music in the morning.I have given this a 5 stars, for its size, stability, quality and features, it is non-glaring and is great for visibility at night with its large red display in numbers, even when its right across the room it is still clear and visible. The set up was a little confusing at first I did have to read the instructions to figure out the controls, but I learned them within a few minutes and they make sense, so I haven't had to look at the instructions a second time...The buttons are easy to feel in the dark to Hit that snooze or cancel the alarm. I always keep my alarm clock away from the bed - if it's within reach I turn it off without actually waking up. I also love that there's a dimmer so if you want to have the clock right by your bed you can and the bright numbers won't disturb you.Two things would make it better, in my opinion, is a 5/7 day setting for the alarms so I didn't have to remember to turn them off on the weekends, and a programmable snooze interval because the standard 9-minute snooze is way too longer than I would like it, maybe the option for 2mins or 5 mins would have been better. One thing I will mention is that you will need to turn off the alarm that is already set on this clock as it will go off at 12 am and 12 pm if you don't, if you read the instruction manual it will tell you under the alarm section how to do it ..it is very easy and simple to do, you have two red lights that are either side that will let you know what is on and what is off :)Overall A good little find!

Not very happy.
Pretty disappointed with this purchase. It was hard to set up initially, and now after 3 weeks I can still not get it to operate as I wish I press the on or off switch and a mystery number 552 comes up along with a horrible screeching noise. Sometimes if I hit on off again it takes me to the radio programme I want sometimes it takes me to the time. Switch off and 552 keeps coming up with the horrible noise again which takes some time to clear. Really annoying. Guess I have to persevere or buy a different Radio Alarm.

Bought for its BIG digits
Fed up with the missus waking me up leaning over and squinting at my clock radio to see that it's still the middle of the night (the absence of light not being enough of a clue for her), I decided to get her a BIG one to go on her side of the bed.Guess what? She still looks at mine! And, she still hasn't worked out how to set an alarm, adjust it or even play the radio (Alexa is easier), but just having it there gives me something to point at when she's woken me up for the 3rd time that night! So as she isn't able to review it, I will. I quickly figured it out and it's very simple to set-up and use, it has reasonable (bedroom quality) radio sound and it is definitely very visible at night (if you [she] remembers to look the right way), but it's not over powering as you can adjust the brightness to a low glow, but you would need to turn it up if you're a night shift worker without blackout blinds who needs to see the time in day light. It has extra bells and whistles, but it'll never beat the resident Echo, so these go unused by us, but you may want to drift off to sleep with the radio on a timer and have 2 alarms etc. And it has big easy to reach buttons, so it would be easy to find the snooze or off button if you wanted. But to me it's worth it just to point at and say 'you have your own clock - Good night!'

This radio is fantastic. My step mom would like to listen to only a few stations on the radio, but has macular degeneration and has trouble seeing the dials. I needed to find a radio that is easy to use once it is set up and has presets with an AC cord and large numbers. This radio has large red numbers that show either the clock time or radio station that you are listening to. There are two buttons that you use to pre set the stations. Once you are done, you only need to hit either one of those 2 buttons to go up or down the frequencies that you set. She only needs to use the on/off button and the 2 buttons for the stations. Very easy for her to use after I set it up. The reception in my area is excellent and the sound booms through the speaker very easy to hear. Some people have said it was hard to pre set the stations. I guess that is in individual issue, because I had no troubles at all. Just read the manual...no problems.
