Replaced one older dodgy cable with one of these. Impressed, so have now bought four more to replace older cables.

High speed
I have a long (1m) cable for my home external Seagate hard drive, and a short version (.5m) for my portable Seagate drive which I carry with me.They are high speed cables, capable of transfer speeds of up to 5Gbs, which is USB 3 levels.They are silver with a silver braided cable, so they match my laptop aesthetically, which I like.Solid and hardwearing - but - and the only but, the cable itself is a bit too rigid for my preference, it is not flexible enough to coil and have the portable drive close to the laptop, it tends to push it away. I have overcome this by tying the cable into a loop, but personally I'd prefer a bit more flexibility in the cable as it puts less strain on the connectors - and I've found the Seagate connector is a weak point in all my years using them.

Very strong, sturdy, and more robust that the average cable supplied with your HD.

Good solid construction
Only in use for a couple of days so far but this immediately fixed the problem I'd been having with the cable that was originally supplied. The 'grip' sections of this new replacement is much better than the original and happily my external screen is functioning again: phew!

Excellent câble qui remplit parfaitement ses fonctions tant en vitesse de lecture qu'en écriture. Pris en un mètre pour le racordement de mon disque dur Seagate 2,5" à mon hub USB. Tout est OK.
