Critique of Rust-Oleum concrete Patch & Repair
Epoxy bond to concrete is tenacious. Cured coating is tough and durable. Working time is adequate. Clean and dry your starting holes or cracks before applying epoxy. Don't do too large an area with one mixing. Start with a smaller area (<20 sq. inches) and see if you can get it applied smoothly. Use a light concrete colored sand to sprinkle over the repaired area while the epoxy is curing. This will give you a better looking and an anti-slip surface to your repair. Sweep off excess sand coating after the epoxy is cured.

Expensive, small amount, works excellent, not resistant to gasoline
Very expensive for the small amount of product but works excellent. Not intended for large projects unless you can afford it. Gasoline will dissolve it even after its cured if it's spread too thin over a patch.

REST-OLEUM SURFACE REPAIR
I was kind of difficult to work with and messy too. Mixing the activator and the concrete repair was made the job harder than it should have been, You need to work very quickly.

I would recommend this product.
This product was great. It was rather easy to mix, fill, and level out. I used it before doing my rock solid garage concrete flooring, and it did a great job filling cracks. I would recommend picking up some quikrete concrete repair and filling large holes or cracks first, once they cure, grind them smooth, and then go over the top of them with this. This rustoleum crack filler was great for sealing in the quickrete, and filling in cracks. It sanded down nicely and easily to get rid of the raised edge from application. I used a soft applicator, an old auto body filler type one to mix, and apply. That worked well for scraping most access off and also being flexible around areas that weren’t exactly level. After sanding this product down, and applying the rock solid polycuramine floor coat, I couldn’t see this product through it. In reviews, and videos that you can, I think they either didn’t sand it or maybe didn’t apply the floor coat thick enough. I used the light gray floor coat kit, this stuff applies gray, so could also be part of why you can’t see it. Overall I am very satisfied. I have plenty left over also so I can help friends with their garages now that they have seen how mine turned out. I recommend only mixing a little at a time. If you run out you can just simply mix more. I used 1 popsicle sticks per container to grab it out and the soft applicator to mix and finally apply it. I wouldn’t recommend using a hard putty knife and grabbing some out of one can, and dipping into the next with a dirty knife and mixing it like that. I saw that on several videos. When you go back to use it in the future I’d imagine there will be rocks or something of activated material mixed in. The packaging says this can also be used to help anchor in screws into masonry, so I will be saving this as a future tool/ trick to help get a job done. Take care of your product and Itl be there to serve again!

Excellent product.
I decided to clean, patch and stain my boring front porch when I re- made my porch this summer. It had a lot of cracks. I took all the concrete patch products in Lowes, chose a nice patio furniture display to sit and I read them all. I chose the Rustoleum. It's easy to work with and it dries rock hard. I mixed it in small batches because it dries in about 20 minutes. Once it's dry it's harder than the concrete. I sanded the seams down flat using a grinder with a sanding disc. I am really happy with how it turned out. I ended up painting the seams, they are now part of the final result. I wanted a turquoise stone look. So I used the patched seams in the design. I was then asked to repair the cracks in a neighbors very large, very cracked front porch floor. That also came out great, and those were bad cracks. I've used 3 boxes of this concrete patch, it's well worth the cost.

Does the job, but difficult to handle and may dry sticky
I may or may not use this product again. I used in on the concrete floor in my basement utility room as a floor prep for a Rustoleum 2-part epoxy floor coating. The Rustoleum floor coating called specifically for this crack filler. While the crack filler adhered well and did the job, I had major difficulties handling it. It is extremely sticky and goopy to work with, and I found no good method of measuring out the two parts (it is a two-part epoxy) and ensuring that I had precise ratios of Part A to Part B. It had a thick consistency that interfered with precise measurement (it had to be scooped out of the two tubs and mixed). I tried using two medicine cups, but had a terrible time not contaminating the tub containing Part A with material from Part B, and vice versa. The epoxy also dried sticky in several places. I turned up the heat and ran a dehumidifier for several days to ensure curing, but the stickiness never went away. I ended up putting the floor coating over the works and hoping for the best. The end result clearly revealed where I had filled the cracks and holes in the floor and where I had not, as the filled areas were much glossier (and smoother) than the rest of the floor. The top coat epoxy did cover up both the sticky and non-sticky areas, so I am overall very happy with the product. All in all, my old concrete utility room floor in the basement is in far better shape than previously, but it by no means looks like a new floor.
