Proguard Softie Dog Muzzle, Medium

Nice construction and can see this will work for my cocker spaniel that eats everything. The sides are solid fabric and the entire middle section is a fine mesh that will let the air in but keep everything out of his mouth. Ordered a Medium but this was too small, so returning for a large......see attached photo of size chart on the back of the packaging.which may help your decision.

this is the third muzzle (in as many years) that i've ordered for my 8 year old labrador - who has atypical Addison's Disease and is prescribed steroids for life. side affect of steroids is constant hunger, (and thirst) - even more than the average labrador! his previous muzzles still permitted him to eat away at mounds of earth and our walks were becoming unbearable. but this muzzle is THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS! He can't get at anything and hasn't even struggled to get the muzzle off (probably because he's so used to wearing a muzzle now). it's a comfortable fit and the soft fabric is so much better than the plastic and leather (open) muzzles i've got in my collection!! thank you!!

This was needed to prevent a poop eating habbit unfortunately! It is the best mesh muzzle over come across for this application.It would not be suitable to leave on for extended periods in hot weather as not much room to pant.Stays on quite well if tightened sufficiently.HINT: it is quite short in the muzzle length IMO, so if you have a long nosed breed like a greyhound, they may be able to get it off.

Purchased this for my scavenger Labrador after she had a nasty bout of pancreatitis which has left her with IBD. This now lifelong condition means she has to follow a strict diet and if she eats anything other than that, she becomes ill.So not wanting to restrict her exercising off lead, but needing to make sure she didn’t scavenge I thought this would be a great compromise. It wasn’t! She pulled it off in seconds, and it was not possible to secure it tighter. The design is flawed and only suitable for a very inactive and docile dog...!

Our dog was fridge raiding so bought this to curtail it, and also to wear for car journeys.This appears to upset him less than most, and has been a lot more hard wearing than other mesh muzzles.Any dog that can open fridges is smart, and, as expected, Oscar learnt to pull the strap of this over his head... but this is easily solved by hooking the strap through his collar. Muzzle straps are plenty long enough for this to happen

Very disappointed the description said to fit a Jack Russell but it was way too big, covering her eyes and practically her whole face! The returns is a joke £3.99 which is half the cost so I’d rather give it away to charity or sell it on eBay! I clearly need the small size and surprise surprise that is almost double the price!?! Shan’t be buying from this company again!

It does the job, and it's soft, however I don't like the colour. I couldn't choose any different one as these are one size in one colour, unfortunately. It gets dirty very quickly and it's difficult to keep it nice looking, because of this 😉

Great muzzle for indoors or after an operation.. Will not take kindly to concrete scrapes or much outdoor use though. REMEMBER TO FILE THE SHARP EDGES OFF YOUR DOGS CLAWS. It has a few layers of different materials, looks like neoprene in the center with nylon on the outers.. Washes well, and has space for breathing and even drinking..The giant muzzle is cheaper as it is way too big for most dogs. i have a male English Bull terrier with a huge head and it still covers his eyes.. The yellow muzzle fits most larger dogs...
